you had me at Exercise done! You really work hard d Nancy!

cards pulled today:

temporary: call insurance :D ..find a mover and book
dejunk emails ten to twenty a day as they built up.
match up gloves again in front hall.. we all seem to have the habit of taking them off and tossing them on the shelf in front hall closet and then go out of the house with "kind of to not at all" matching gloves when we are in a hurry

Conga Friday
floors vacuum and surface wash

desk: list spending and toss most of the receipts
December 2014 go through and file

Focus area:
vacuum our bedrooms.. girls theirs.
2 baskets in room.. put away

Errand: office max (need a small box for extra meds that must be kept but not with main daily meds) :D

dh doesn't know it but I have decided to start going into his garage and start a few things before dd older gets her hands on it... dh cleans by putting things away wherever - and at first it always looks nice but eventually it blows up with all the extras bought and also not being able to find anything. I have to do it without him feeling like I am making a comment. :D

My trick for keeping a cat off textiles that "call" to them, LOL : I have a thick fleece cloth that I spread over and tuck around, when needed, always keeping the same side up. This is the cat's own blanket - it is alright if he gets on it. I have used this over quilts that are folded, for instance, and when lifted the quilt is fine - you would never know the cloth had been there. Or if I put it on the corner of a bed, he will go to that corner ONLY because he craves that softness, and will leave the whole rest of the bed alone. Of course, a big cat will still wrinkle whatever's under there!

Card leftover from yesterday - general bill organization. Will start getting down to specifics Monday when I redo desk.
Also laundry needs an extra load today.
Kitchen floor is looking iffy.

my bedroom vacuumed (only surface) dust surface, took things that don't belong and put them in their right spot or tossed, all laundry is now put away

I thought of a helpful card:
"Determine your most procrastinated task" card
that probably should come up at least every month if not every week.
We've all got tasks we are putting off and we're probably making sense to do it - lots of reasons. But just purposefully noting which one is getting most out of hand would help.

Gloves - I am terrible about gloves. I forget and depend upon long sleeves of jackets, or pockets. A little better about knowing where work gloves are and also offering them to dstepson or HRH when I think needed.

no wonder you are tired d Nancy!!! And what a nice way to get a pair of gloves! you didn't even have to go shopping for them. :D

oh I really like that card d harriet... I know I have things I procrastinate on that nag me even if I don't do it - it's in my mind but having a card like this would help me get things done that I put off.

I am going over this weeks plan as next week dd younger starts therapy and the first week I will be going downtown with her... I get to visit the library in Chicago and do some sight seeing.

----------------------------------
Focus: well needed - bathrooms - my windows need washing and caulking

procrastinating: not picking up shade that is fixed

De-clutter: I no longer believe "I" can work on a severe cluttered area during a week of focus - I find the focus time works well in keeping up with areas that have been thoroughly de-cluttered before. DH's garage is in very bad shape and he can not handle the stress of someone working in it - but it is too big of a job for him.. he gets overwhelmed and tired faster since he had cancer five years ago. The Garage is on my radar for a thorough de-cluttering but it will take months to go through but I hope to have it done by summer.
