I forgot a birthday in October for which I had purchased the greeting card early. Sigh. I even remember thinking - "now there are no birthdays right now are there". Sigh. Even though I am closer to getting bdays right, it is very hard to get things exactly right so I can always have a reminder. I end up missing a certain page/date/memory anyway.

(Note to self - mid-November there are 4 birthdays! Get cards ready! :) )

I have changed my Healthy Habits card by turning it sideways. I've always used the 5x7 graphed card for this, and have had 14 healthy habits to check off with the card turned as usual. Now turning it the other way I can check off more and still use each card for as much as 10 days. It is working better for me. I have added my B-12 now, for instance, and seem to remember it better.

Ddil said she would email or call dd35 about Thanksgiving plans. I really appreciate that. I like it when I don't have to be right in the middle of all plans all the time. I also found out that ddil happens to love macaroni and cheese, so now I know a smart dish to crock-pot in advance for get-togethers.

Nancy reminds me I need to get my turkey cookie jar down from the shelf.
