Nancy, SuzLew is working on Christmas gifts in each person's own birthday month to spread them out so she won't have all to do at end of year. It made me think of your 25th-of-the-month regular gift-crafting time.

I have been getting more regular again with making a "tomorrow" card each evening. Just a few things for the next day, like a "5x5" - helpful.

I finished up a hat for the gift dresser and
started another one. Love that all year progress for gifts!

Having three things to do on my list is a great way
for me to have a place to begin. Just knowing where to start helps!
I got the sinks and counters in the kitchen clean feels great.

I'm still on light duty here but improving slowly;
hubby helped me and got the
top of the fridge cleaned after I cleared it off.

I did the kitchen and dining room floors this weekend
and got the china hutch and corner cabinet de-cluttered and dusted.
That feels great!

Today I've sorted one pile of paper work;
glad to have a start on that.
H. has trash to curb it's trash day here.
He got a bid on water heater installation and we are
waiting for them to come so we can sign paper work on it
and they will begin at noon. w/out hot water can't wash much.
Tip of the day water can be heated in coffee maker to pour over dishes
to rinse them off.
H. is washing some thing in cold water this morning.

Hi nancy! so happy to have you back here!

great job on paper work! so frustrating not to have hot water especially in the winter :shock: can't imagine.
great idea re: coffee maker... mother of invention!

hope your water heater gets replaced right away.

I was going to make whole wheat bread this morning (one of my goals this year is to really learn how to make different type of breads well. last white bread I forgot it was rising and over rose... I went to transfer it and poof it deflated. had very dense loaves of lead. made garlic/parsley croutons out of it for soup. have enough for months.
I am trying a going to make this almost no knead bread... I should have read the recipe as I found out it had to rest 8 to 18 hours ahhh. so I made the dough but can't use until tomorrow.
I will make the tomato soup this morning for tonight and when I pick up dd19 I will buy a bagette
also frustrated I have been so lazy re: focus. because at night this big franny has been sitting on the couch watching tv.
geesh.

We had the heating / plumbing guys put the new hot water tank in
the other day they hauled the old one out and the new one in saved on our backs.
Hooked it up and wired it in soddered new pipes did parts runs etc.
had 4 trucks here at one point on it.

It's such a blissful thing to have hot water for baths,
hair washing, hand washing, dishes laundry, and other cleaning
so grateful to have that again now!
