I am only putting one thing on my list today: Closets. I have been pushing it off all week. Even if I don't get anything else done; I will be okay!

I have a vet appointment at 10 for one of the dogs.

just getting started on closets
it's going to be okay.

I did my botany word of the day: BERRY

I did my latin for the day
picea (spruce),
Pinus (pines),
Abies (Firs)

learned the
feminine: Abietina,
masculine: abietinus,
Neuter: Abietirum

from the Pinaceae family.

GYNMOSPERMS

learned it is not a monocot or a dicot but a conifer.

February 20, 2024

I took time for myself :D

Tuesday: Bathroom day
hoping to work outside in the garage and pick up dog toys.
Everything is frozen right now.

bathroom jobs to choose from:
dust walls and ceiling
spray mold inhibitor
windows swipe
wash trim and bottom walls
clean glass on sliding shower doors
talk to dh re: medicine cabinet
clean toilets
clean sinks
clean floors
clean vents
clean doors

----------------
kitchen that I missed yesterday
clean the table well.

-------------------
vacuum first floor
rinse kitchen
-------------------
clean cat litter :D
-------------------
outside:
clean up dog toys took one hour - plus I had to throw the ball as I picked up - dogs had a good run. :D
next check to see if other animals are out so I can toss stuff and put away stuff
work in garage if weather gets warm
if weather gets warm - see if I can pull weeds or do plant cut down for spring.

Monday! I am shocked on how fast the weeks are going!
yay day is checked off - dd older is home again and exhausted.

word of the day: PHANEROPHYTES Having their bud bearing shoots in the air: with a few exceptions are trees, shrubs and Lianes
The majority of conifer and dicot tree species fall into this category as to Tree ferns https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tree_fernand ,many palm and cycad https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cycadspecies.

they are subdivided
Height-class: tall, medium, low tree species

According to whether the buds have or lack scales
whether their leaves are evergreen or deciduous
it is always a joy to be here with you!
