Meal planning is changing for me - HRH has made it a priority to lose some weight and so he's asked me to really go by calories for him and help to limit him. It's a different thinking process for that, when you sit down to plan meals. There is more of a chance the 3 of us won't be eating the same things, so the "Plan Supper" card, for instance, doesn't mean what it did before!

(blessed), I hope you are finding today a more focused day.

Glad to help you gals to be motivated!
Today I have salmon thawing;
h. said he will grill it for us
I need to do a salad to go with it.
Having dinner sausage for lunch I think.
I made up deviled eggs for us last night
thought we were going fishing this a.m.
but life happened.

I've done my walk
laundry is ready to be changed over into the dryer
got the watering done that I did not get to last night.
Kitchen spiff is done,
getting to the dailies helps the week to run smoother.

hi harriet :D feeling a lot more focused today thank you harriet. so I am going to try to stay with my card file even though I so desperatly want to go to pwyc to say hello! I understand how the situation can change the cards. good for your dh!

hi nancy :D to you too. grilled salmon.. very good. life happened ... 8-) I understand that too

I have started on seattle sutton, rather expensive but I am desperate to drop at least 50 of the 100 lbs I am overweight. I tried it for 2 weeks and lost 7 pds. I don't mind cooking for everyone else (3 only) as when I cook, go out to eat I loose total control and over over eat, especially at night. I know it could all come back but I am hoping that I can stay on this more on then off the rest of my life. I need to do something.

cards I have attacked so far: finish report due today. :D dd20 is using her incredible writing skills to help me learn how to write.
research for next project :D
read the 2 chapters required :D
empty dw :D
filled and washing again :D
cleaned powder room :D (things to fix caulk)
vacuumed kitchen floor :D
dinner for family stuffed tomatoes with meat and rice onions basil egg and parsley cooking for family right now :D
rice on side :D
dw emptied again :D and filled from dinner dishes

4:49 check in sooo tired

jobs given to dd's for today
dd13 brush dogs
dd20 empty dw
both bring dirty cloths down stairs
bring clean cloths upstairs
put their stuff away
all help clean up dishes from dinner and a quick vacuum of floor... love having a routine today.

I agree getting dailies done really makes the week run smoother. Great work! Nancy

"waking up and having a purpose" (celebrates life)- Just heard that.
I was going to go to bible study but dd13 is not feeling that great but still went to school so I will stay home just in case. thinking her fall allergies are hitting her.

staying here to help me work

first work 1/2 hour on homework :D
next 5 -
turn dw on (I did fill it last night yeah) :D
ate my seattle sutton. not great but filled me up. :D
Need to get back on focus: time 8:54
next my bathroom
make bed
put away laundry :D
10:24 forcing myself to focus as I could easily get carried away here or doing only fun stuff.
vacuumed family room.. not great ;)
11:00 needing to focus again... I never realized how much I THINK about food. I have checked the seattle sutton site a couple of times to see what I will be eating next week. :o
back to work.
it is always a joy to be here with you!
