Aww...enjoy that garden, LM. I really miss mine. We moved in town and there's not near as much room for one here. I'm going to try some container gardening this year. Our neighbors have done a little square foot gardening -- think I might scope out the yard this year for possible areas for that.

Back to it!

*todos!
-- refresh 2nd bed
-- make fresh veggie juice for supper
-- sort through some paperwork stacks

Oh, that was way more than 15 for me - had to go check on my parents

took a dozen eggs and container of egg salad to my mom
planned tomorrow with my mom (she has appt at 11:00)

but also in 15 after getting back:

boiled water for dd10's continuing "future study" part of her science project
spiffed kitchen
dishwasher filled so far
more pickup
took a bag of trash down to the cans

Hi to Lady Maverick
enjoy creativity Twins Mom
how do you juice, Smile Lee?

BWTG Harriet! Thought we lost ya there. ;)

I have a 23-year-old Champion Juicer - still works like a charm. I bought it for $250 at the time. I think the prices are still pretty close to that. You can also juice by blending it up fine in a blender, then straining it through a nutmilk bag or cheesecloth. I've never done it that way, so I can't really tell you how it turns out straining it.

Oops! I did say juice, but that's not what I'm doing tonight. Gonna blend up my veggies in the Blendtech, which is similar to a Vitamix.

Nothing like farm fresh eggs for sure!

Supper fixed and messed cleaned up! Both dh and ds are gone - so easy peasy for me.

I'm done for awhile, but I'll be lurking. Gonna do some web surfing. I'll BBL to post bedtime routine and more laundry tadas.

I have a Champion, too - a beautiful appliance on the counter but waylaid recently and relegated to storage. I just haven't had time to juice. Dh isn't so sure he would drink much anyway. I make him up pitchers of Prevention mag's recipe for "sassy water" (sliced lemon, grated ginger, mint leaves and cucumber slices) steeped in a pitcher overnight. He says better than any drink ever - loves it.

I have done a lot since I posted but just no chance to get back here. Mostly we undid everything we did Fri in order to have so much company, through to taking a twin mattress on the stairs again, etc.

Evening dailies done, except now that I post it, I think I'll go make him some steeped water just before bed to start his week off well in the a.m.

Enjoyed posting with you all!

Convenience is the key for me. Sometimes I have to sacrifice having some counter clutter. I store my Champion right next to the sink on the counter back against the wall. It's easy to slide it forward and have the "compost" discharge right into the disposal area.

Well.....

I sat and listened to 2 teleseminars and then had to pick up ds. I still have 3 LOLs to fold and put away, take out the garbage and get ready for bed. It's BOTH, so BB @ TOTH with progress.
