Hi everyone! I'm pleased to report that I have stuck with my 15 minutes of computer file purging every day! On day two I set the timer but forgot to hit start. Worked a while before I noticed, then did another 15 with the timer. I've been averaging 20 minute sessions because when the timer dings I am usually in the middle of a file I want to finish up. Best news is that it has actually been fun :-). Haven't looked at some of this stuff in years. Deleting lots.

Lynlee, way to go on your shiny sink upkeep! Good luck with setting and sticking with a time for lights out.

Kathryn, I love how shining your sink while traveling helps to center you.

Nancy, good job on your kitchen!

Motivated1, I like making lists, too. I'm also guilty of jotting things down on scraps of paper. I started a master To Do notebook (it's just a spiral notebook) & at first I would just sporadically throw the scraps onto the first page. Now I actually rewrite the to dos from the scraps into the notebook -- worth the extra time to me.

Jilly, passing you cyber tissues & a bowl of chicken soup! Hope you feel better soon.

Lucylee, one focus a day after school sounds like a good plan. I did that when I worked full time -- vacuum on Mon, clean baths on Tues, etc. The trick was not to sit down when I got home but to start right away, otherwise my good intentions melted away.

Yogagirl, great job on cleaning out your closet!

I'm off to do my 15 minutes of computer declutter. Wonder what I'll find today?

Its nice to have company here - hope it is helping you as it is me.
Yoga one of my steps in all this is to delight in what I actually do. Aspire to do more - yes, but no beating me up. (lol - I can be very hash on myself.) You do do a lot. imho.
Nancy I'm glad you join us here. Your teaching me about keeping on with achievable steps.
Dove wtg with puta declutter. The puta appreciates it I'm sure. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

I achieved day 4 dishes/sink.
I got to bed earlier than prev night but got up again after 90min, Then the dawn chorus was on when I got back into bed, eventually to sleep maybe 3 hrs. OK Thats the reason I have this as a goal. It will take a bit. I went outside for the morning sun on my skin bodyclock reset .... hoping that will help.

:D :D :D Keep it up "Fresh Starters". Together we will get there.
Just begin.

*sigh Rough night last night. I am gearing up for a productive weekend but tonight may be just take out and early to bed. Frustrated now at how quickly hard work gets undone by those that just don't care.

(((((Yoga))))) Sleep tight. Its ok to take a break to regroup - imo at least. Maybe your extra projects are a w/e thing.

I took a night off last night. :( Today I need regroup myself so I'm one who does care. I need to sus out some freakfast, then might go to the farmers market to try and break this mood I'm in.

msg to self.... I just need try again. Pick up where I left off.
Just begin.

so I just put her toys in there and got them out of the living room and off the floor.
