This is the first round of the storage area. Your storage is probably nice and neat from putting away holiday decorations which will make it easier to do the maintenance.

This is my first time joining in the focus. It is a bit overwhelming but I know it will only get better and easier each time.

I've never thought about the individual storage areas as a group. By combining them it gives a different vision to what should be stored where.

Thank you Indiana for organizing these Focus topics!

Dd's "old" closet is our focus this round. Her "new" closet is clean and ready for its new job.

Our last Focus on Storage for 2011. Do you have more than one space that you think of when we come to this Focus area like me, or do you always zero in on just one place you call "storage", like garage or attic? Do you use 3x5 cards for recording what's in long-term or seasonal storage containers like P and P taught? Or do you have your own system?

There are boxes of stuff hubby needs to shred from the farm is the storage focus next up for us in this zone to work on even one a day or one a week will be great progress! I have a storage zone and there is another we call the tool room and we rotated boxes of paper work in it out where we could get to it when we were de-cluttering things & moving stuff out for the carpet installation this summer.

Getting back to our storage areas for the first time in 2012. When I think of storage cleaning, I think of my vacuum's wand attachment and the concept of getting into some tight corners that aren't seen much! Drawers, cabinets, cubbies and containers, here we come! What unusual storage corner do you need to point out to your vacuum?
