You can do it, blessed! Wish we were neighbors. We could nag each other! I would call and say, blessed I want to lie in bed this morning, and you would say, no way young lady, I am tapping my foot and looking at my watch, get out here!

You were smart to take a photo when you walked. Document. Get to the location you intended, etc.

Was listening today to a dr who is a yoga teacher as well. She was saying that research shows that "favoring" or dis-use of our joints, only seems to us to be "letting them heal". Over time, those who keep exercising reasonably have better future outcomes than those who decide to favor painful joints and rest them. It's counter-intuitive, but resting isn't so great when it comes to our joints. This would never be to the point of pain, of course, just what's tolerated. Obviously, this got me to thinking about my silly hip and leg. I need to keep a record of when I am active in which way, and then when my leg acts up. Need to track what is smart and what I need to approach gently, so I will know rather than guess at this. I go back and forth between getting too ambitious - ouch - and "favoring"! She was adamant that the PT pros and other drs she works with say no surgery alternatives, except for repair of damage from actual accidents/blows such as car wrecks - not for "aches and pains". Sigh. I gotta hope that's right. Nobody hit me and knocked me down - I seem to be able to "ache and pain" without that, lol.

d harriet I came here today to push myself and I got your wonderful message - lol - I would love (love) to be your neighbour! We would keep each other on our toes!!!!

I too go back and forth on too much and then not enough - what a great idea about keeping track of where your body and you hip/leg are at with exercise and rest. (great idea to keep track!!!)
praying that the pain leaves you... I will have a talk with your leg/hip and tell it to behave!

I have been doing that with my on and off again depression. Being a happy positive person then falling into ruts of depression when I don't keep up my outdoor activities and my home routine. It's been very eye opening: exercise and movement outdoors equal happiness and being home without a focus or routine brings depression. I had no idea that my adhd affects me without that plan of attack.

A new week.. I love it - we had so much fun Saturday at Octoberfest and Sunday at a family party.

Mom may not go back to Florida for quite awhile... I usually go off schedule while she is here and then in October I get back on track but if she is not leaving I still have to get on track because I can't live like this all year round.

Monday: I was out with d mom all afternoon because of dr. stuff and her errands and one for me. Some dailies done
Tuesday: back to the real world - dd younger has a dr. appointment at noon - was with d mom the rest of the afternoon
kitchen day, refrigerator, french :D (as I missed a couple days), gym  , start thinking about fall decorating. File mom's medical and my eye dr care stuff.
get tickets for Friday, animal day :D

Wednesday: far away test for d mom, dailies, with d mom

Thursday: Cut down flowers in front, short time with d mom (turned it all afternoon but it was fun just the same) laundry dance, dailies

friday: heavy work, comedy thing w dh - not my thing but it is with family elders - lol thats us now. dh really wants to go.

I have attention again... appreciate while I have it.
I need a balance of getting outside, going places and staying home or I loose complete focus.

I also found if I go out all day and I get home at 5 I don't do anything the rest of the evening. I have to figure out balance

do one thing that is out of my comfort zone.

Dailies - gym - dogs - cats
This week: laundry room vacuuming throughout
Saturday September 23: hair dye appointment (just going back temporarily) art in the barn, bathrooms, (was supposed to monarch festival but it will be boiling tomorrow
Sunday: September 24: Church, photos etc. bills (I keep up with toss as I go) Personal
Monday: September 25: Bank
Tuesday: September 26
Wednesday: September 27
Thursday: September 28
Friday: September 29
Saturday: September 30

This coming week: pull Christmas lights and test them and put outside before it gets freezing
pull halloween decorations
start frame of scarecrows
start decoration for front window and upstairs window
