Re: Basic Weekly Plans December 17, 2020 Thursday

Keeping on on dog. she ate this morning. then stopped eating.

Remember there is no magic in getting things done. Keep it simple. Don't over-goal. See the importance in your day. Focus on the light/hope that is in your day.

walk dog for short walks (slowly).

finish Christmas cards. :D all but 5 cards done -

my plan is to not over goal -

I have been up since 5 - laid there until 6 - did nothing but coffee, dream a little, watched youtube videos from min. mom, garden answer etc.
time to take d dog for a short walk. She is sleeping but I think it will be good for her to have a15 minute walk.

took d dog for only 20 minutes - she is cheerful at times but not hungry -

separated the presents - I need to wrap dd's present and make a card.
opened the new covers for the couch that came in and are now on - much neater even though I would rather have the white furniture for the front room. dh is lovely but dirty on those chairs. he insists to sit in there instead of the family room. it's okay - even though he wanted the white knowing that it would be an issue. he said he would leave it for company. he is okay with this though which is nice.

all presents wrapped. I will put the white elephant gifts in closet tomorrow
I will put the wrapping paper and tape in closet in case dd's need them.

hope:

bathrooms
vacuum and rinse floors
christmas decorations on tree
I had plans for meals - but with out a fridge that's out the window.
put the remaining white elephants in closet

call vet to see if they have gentle food for dog bought :D

DON''T FREAK OUT! 8-) :D

picked up dog food :D
walked d dog in the woods - my body has fallen backwards a lot since being sick for approx 2 months. I walked a mile - it wasn't easy esp. on the hills - but I did it. Dog was feeling happy - she still is not eating well but she was active.

okay time for work after lunch
took a nap
finished paper work

i have had my coffee, my breakfast, dh picked up the meat for today and tomorrow

dog broke a plate while I was sleeping - now to pick it up. i put a fence around it as it was way too early to deal with that.

Re: Basic Weekly Plans: January 2021 yay!!!

Postby blessedw2 » Sun Jan 03, 2021 11:15 am

I don't believe in resolutions but I do love goals (and now that I am older I don't see things as a failure if I don't do them - I always learn something and have fun along the way)

In 2020 I didn't have a goal to learn something I really wanted to do. I had no focus for learning which is not good for someone like me).

I am going to list it here - and check it again on January 2022

Make bread every week or ever 2 weeks - different whole grain ones.
EVERY YEAR I COOK THROUGH A COOKBOOK - THAT'S MY GOAL AGAIN
NO CHARGE CARDS! SAVE FOR NEW FLOOR IN KITCHEN AND STRIPING AND SANDING AND STAIN WOOD FLOORS THROUGH OUT HOUSE - NEW WOOD FLOORS IN DD'S OLD ROOMS
pay off discover monthly until it's gone
talk to landscaper to set up what I want and not what he wants
Make a new soup every 2 weeks and freeze
learn how to make meringue
walk daily in nature - working on that 1000 hours of outdoors program.
Keep phone in other room at night time
fall asleep to reading books instead of tv
build the swing kit I have
I would love to go to a summer cabin for a vacation
learn orienteering -and other outdoor activities
contact piano teacher
kayak this summer a little at a time.
adventure to different woods/beaches etc.
training dog

date night with dh once a month - take him somewhere special
I have to find something that dh and I could do together... help him work on the blog he wanted to do. I will have to do the work weekly and get his stories.
HOME REPAIR
CARD FILE AND ZONE WORK -

big one: put all of dd youngers things in one area in see through boxes and put in crawl space - her stuff still takes up a lot of room in our upstairs closets
FINISH FAMILY HISTORY

the kitchen week of decluttering is done (except the plastic bag drawer and the junk drawer) - that will come around again and maybe I can do 5 things to declutter, every so often, from those drawers.

this week - work on going through dd younger's stuff again.
1. put it all in one spot.
2. talk to her about her drums -
3. pick a space that the things will fit and get rid of everything else that won't fit in that spot (or as Dana of Decluttered at the speed of life) calls it a container - a container (area/room/shelf) can only hold so much - if it doesn't fit - just keep what you love that will fit).
4. look for garbage
5. look for the duh's or easy
6. go through and pick and choose so it fits in that spot.
