Helian, clothesline paranoia appears to be international! I hope you enjoy coffee with your DF.

Dogged, I think Freddie may be pulling everyone into a false sense of security, and mine day he will strike again! I'm sure Germane will look beautiful after her trip to the groomers, and I'm sure she will be a little angel.

The sitting room is clean and tidy and everyone has been fed. I made spiced eggs pilau for our supper. Matilda is now asleep on my lap. DH has started working out how to clip his multiple monitors to his new desk. Apparently he needs another connector. Today he had to make do with just the one monitor!

very interesting differentiation between those great big telescopes!
I remember reading that the many and various cultures in the world have different names for the different constellations, and even group the stars into the constellations differently. And I know we have a sun that warms us, and a moon at night, and the earth beneath our feet. That is as much astronomy as I know.

I don't understand clothesline paranoia. It is the energy efficient, climate protecting, way to dry clothes. And sanitizing too The problem I have is that we have these little bugs called no-see-ums, that get into the clothes while outside, then the bugs come inside, and bite where ever the clothing or bedding are next to sckin. And boy do they get red and itch!
First task this morning was to meet with the city supervisor of the sidewalk project, to point out that the restoration was inadequate. She is not a nice lady to talk to. So I had to just be very direct and assertive.
Second task was t deliver the banana bread I baked last night to my son and his family.
Third, which has taken just a little over 4 hours, was to
pick up dfBS at the hospital,
get her home,
get her new meds at the pharmacy,
make sure she knows how to take them,
get all the 'stuff" that accumulates in the hospital put away

Now I am finally home, and need to make a little food for lunch
go to grocery store, for senior day discount
then head to mother - she's playing BINGO and I had promised I would be there today - not going to make BINGO, but will be able to take her shopping, as I assume she still wants to do that.

Hi, L.Ann. I enjoy a puzzle, but they really are more fun with someone else to do them with.

Gma, those little bugs sound crazy-making. Hanging laundry on the fourth floor, I don't have to worry about too many bugs at least.
And talking about crazy-making, good for you facing down the city supervisor. That would be exhausting.
It really does feel good to relax at home. You don't realize how tightly you've been wound until you start to let go.

Aww germane is cute. I wish I had show you my Casper. I think it would probably be a whole lot easier to do pick if I actually used a computer instead of phone. I can't figure out how to include pictures. I've tried a couple times.

That was quick finding a home for the chair kittykat.

Are you back to teaching soon again helian that you are prepping? I'm sure you enjoyed your time off. Getting to know the inlaw kids is a definite challenge. Ddil here is really sweet and she's fit in really well. But it's being a bit challenging to get together with her . She is quite quick to go to her own mom and that's how it should be. Dsil is a long ways away. He fits in really well too but definitely takes work to get to know him. He's ready quiet

Well this morning I actually made myself quick vacuum and shove my chairs around. Living room looks much better. Casper is blowing his coat again and I have been working on brushing it out. My rug was samoyed white lol. That's one little project out of the way. Well big one.

Tomorrow looks like we found a machine to borrow to dig up some of the yard. It's getting here in the morning then I think the idea is I go out to mom and then dad can come here and help dig. If she is up maybe she will come with him but if she's sleeping i can bring her here for lunch.

Now it's raining. Maybe it would feel good to get dressed and walk in the rain? Ds is starting supper.
