Dogged, it must have been the night for weird dreams. I had one also. I just read an article on kissing bugs too. Are we in sync or what? I read they are in our area, can affect the cardiovascular system and the person won’t even know it. Yikes. Lovebugs are just annoying as they are everywhere, stuck together so one is just hanging on flying backward while the leader goes wherever they choose, and die easily so you find them all over the place. They love our white columns usually. This year I planted milkweed for the butterflies and they seem to gather there. The birds can eat them.

Laura, what did you decide on for lunch? I probably would have gone for a smoothie.

Bama, I had been reading about the kissing bugs moving north. I hope that they never get you. I confess, I can't tell them apart from harmless boxelder bugs which are common where I am.

Laura, soft foods - yogurt, mashed potato, scrambled egg , or even a soft roll with a soft filling may be helpful with a frozen mouth. I hope it goes away soon, but so good they could fit you in straight away.

Bama, we dont have any of those bugs, but we do have horseflies and alao the Blandford fly, which can give a very nasty bite that often gets infected.

Dogged , you're the one that sees your apartment all of the time, so it's important that it brings pleasure to your eyes!

It's rained all day today, so not much in the garden, but I do have a tidy house and a clean kitchen , and the cake for the Y is sitting by the front door. I also have a potential poster for parish lunch. I think it needs a few tweaks, but I'm not sure what yet! I'm off to bed now, while it can still be termed "early"

Hmmm Bama I might just have to make a smoothie yet. I ate a piece of bread with peanut butter and a couple piece of cheese... my mouth is not frozen now but it's a little sore. Eating some popcorn now.. I know I am bad at lunch.

I did make my coffee now and am resting. I should take something. I think the massage was better this time but fighting a headache and my face hurts. And I should be staining outside.

Going to get ds from school and then see what I can do.
