We don’t get much fall color here doggedly. Our area is mostly oak and pine trees, both of which go from green to brown, no inbetween.
Trissie, sounds like a perfect snack. A neighbor opened a farm stand and sells their eggs, vegetables, baked goods, etc. and the sweets aren’t nearly as sweet as store bought snacks. I bought some kind of bar with oatmeal and dark chocolate chips and it was really good. Too much sugar just has no flavor.
Paige, a walk sounds like a great way to get some fresh air.

Waiting in the car while dh pays the gas bill.

Paige, your berries sound like blueberries. I read where a bowl of frozen blueberries every night satisfies a sweet tooth and helps prevent cancer. Idk if it’s true but I want to try it. Can you freeze Saskatoon berries and eat raw?

We stopped at a new bakery and got some knots to try, savory cheese and jalapeño and a cinnamon one. Hope they’re good.

Bama, I eat lots of fresh blueberries -they keep very well in the fridge. (I don't fancy crunching on on frozen in ones, and I really don't like the texture of frozen ones once they've thawed. Yes, I know, fussy! )

It's been a good day. I had a very successful morning in my garden and did manage to prune another rose, along with all the other jobs. And I made more progress with the climbing rose. This afternoon's appointment went well, and I also picked up a couple of things from M&S (I'll try them on again when DH is out tomorrow! )

I need to think about my contribution for Harvest supper at church next weekend. I've said I'll bring coffee cake,.but looking.at the sign up list, it consists entirely of rice salad ( is this the new version of the ubiquitous quiche that used to appear at every church social function? ) and cakes! Maybe I can bring something else as well? I'm glad we signed up, as MD is stressing about so few people signing up for it, and at least we make an extra two!

We are home. What a gorgeous day it is. 8)
After dh paid the gas bill we ate lunch at a local restaurant, bbq chicken was good. Brought home fried chicken for supper and snacking tomorrow. Went to tractor supply for food for turkey, dogs, and cats plus some melts for my kitchen Scentsy. We spend more on the pets groceries than our own. Mailed some more bills. I think that’s it. It was nice to get out of the house and amble along. Nothing was pressing so we just did what we wanted. It’s still progress. Got home and unloaded it all. Played ball with Beau again. He’s loving the cooler temps too, still not really cool but there’s a nice breeze and low humidity which is great. Breaking while I charge my phone. I was going to mow some but it will be dark before too long so will get at it tomorrow.
ETA sprayed some briars around porch so they will come up easier tomorrow hopefully.
