Smiling to think how UN fashionable I am, but I really like that ambition toward factual and friendly even while frozen!
We're watching our heat, assuming it can fight against the cold and get up to the temp to which it's set. Slow. This bothers HRH, since we spent so much money on a new system in '25. I figure it's okay.
We'll go out today shortly because the pharmacy called and are about to put a script of his back onto the shelf. He wasn't even aware they had filled it. We feel like we were just there, but guess we didn't specifically ask about that one, anyway, somehow a miscommunication. And HRH can't stand to hear that a script will be put back on the shelf. To him, it's like being late for an appt.
Dailies done.

Hoping the board is up for awhile...
I've piddled, in part because you guys weren't around. I'll find any excuse sometimes. Dh has gone out.

I can't believe that the temple admin lady and the current cemetery chair answered an inquiry asking for a photo and location of someone buried in our cemetery, and were wrong wrong and wrong, and didn't even save a copy of the letter they sent this person. They told this guy she wasn't buried here, and of course she is, and I found it in twenty seconds. Temple office mgr put the letter, without the envelope into my paperwork that I picked up yesterday...
The incompetence is amazing.

Ohmigoodness, Twins'. That's a tough mistake for folks to have to own up to... .. Glad you were able to find the facts.
(Factual Friday)
I don't know why I haven't had the problems others seem to be having, or at least I wonder if they are. Very few posting so far today.
We enjoyed a very cold but bright and sunny trip out. Had a bite to eat.
Laundry is spinning, an extra load for HRH.
I guess the bird feeder is charged, ( ? ) but I'm certainly not going out in the cold to figure out how to strap it into a tree. I'd rather ds consider that. We're happy to learn from the package that it can identify an ostrich if one happens into the yard. DgdC was pleased about that.

So I don't have the address to correct this cemetery error and they don't either...

Re: Fabulous Friday! PWYC
Posting to see if I can..... I've tried dozens of times without success.
YES!!
It's the 6th hour of my day, and things are mostly on track. However, I'm reluctant to step outside—the wind is fierce, and the wind chill has dropped to 35 degrees. Since I'm accustomed to temperatures between 60 and 70 degrees, this sharp 30-degree drop gets my attention.
DD14 last physical therapy appointment of the week happened. Instead of walking, I drove to the grocery store for a few items. I am not interesting in fighting against the cold blustering wind.

Oh my goodness, Twins… how frustrating! Do you have a name, so you might look them up on Facebook or in the “white pages” website?
I guess it will be a Family Friday here, after Dgd gets out of school.
I hit my snooze button a couple times, but I’m up and dressed now. Did Bible reading, straightened the bed, five minute exercise/stretches.
Need to call dmom and warn her that ddil is on the warpath re: lost items. LOL.

Twins - I hope the cemetery error works out okay. We have a local situation where someone is suing the cemetery for bazillion dollars (mental pain and anguish) because of an error.

Re: Fabulous Friday! PWYC
Hi, all! Writing this in Word and will paste it into the SHE group later, I hope. I’m getting the Resource Limit error again.
I need to go nudge DC soon; I think I wrote yesterday that they need to go down to the college to take a couple of tests because they don’t want to install the spyware necessary to be able to do it from home. The tests are short enough that I’m just going to wait in the parking lot rather than going home. But the testing center closes at 2, it’s going to take time to get there, and DC is going to have to clean off the car (I’m not doing it) before we can leave. And they have not yet come down and eaten and taken their meds. Which means when I’m done with this, I’m going to have to go light a fire under them.
I’d rather not go out, but I can understand their reluctance to install the spyware. It’s hard to get everything deleted if you want to remove it from the system.
In the meantime, I can toss some wash in. Oh! And I need to make a list of what errands I should run while I’m out. I wish there were a drugstore near the college; I just need to pick up a couple of things, but the closest thing to a drugstore near there is a large supermarket/discount store, too daunting for me.
Well, I just checked the site, and it’s still down. So I may end up adding to this later. I hope you’re all having a good day.
Yay! I'm back, and the site's back!
