Thank you for the start, Lady M. I'm going to carry on with my existing habits: pelvic floor exercises, drinking water, using my light box and sit to stand reps.

:) Hiya, February. very much indoors!

A day or so ago, Nancy encouraged dancing when you needed some exercise in the moment. Ad intermissions between shows or podcasts, etc. Zumba used to be a part of my weeks, alternating with more exact indoor workouts. Cha cha cha, samba, reggaeton, merengue, salsa - they made for a different kind of brain-body exercise.

February H&F habit focus = Take time to enjoy those Ahhhhh moments. Goal is to stop for a moment each hour, close my eyes, take a deep breath, hold that breathe to a count of 8 while consciously relaxing my shoulder and neck muscles, then fully exhaling. It also a moment to mentally acknowledge the blessings and be thankful. This Ahhhh process can be as quick as 10 seconds or can be extended & the extra moments savored.

I am still doing previous H&F habits and keeping track of them on spreadsheet. I enjoy the dopamine hit (feel good) as I earn marking them accomplished. Weight loss continues to be extremely slow, but it is happening. I lost 2.4 lbs in January.

72 grams of protein yesterday. MFP says I need 78, I'm close! I need to keep it up.

Forgot that I had planned on adding stretching this month. I did stretch well at workout - trainer knows exactly where I need it!

And we're going to fav Italian restaurant for dinner - their special tonight is eggplant parm, which I love, but it doesn't much protein. So I may choose a chicken dish since I'm only having two real meals today.
