I have a new rash this morning on my left wrist. Really?! I covered it in calamine lotion.
If there was an Olympia contest for who can produce the best rash, I might be a contestant.

LasyM …
So sorry for all your troubles. Steroids mess with my weight and my sleep. Feel better fast. You’re gonna look great in your new dresses. I wear casual dresses that are knee length with pockets all the time and hardly shorts in the summer anymore.

Back on track… no class today do to weather, but I’ve already mopped my floors and have 4K steps.

Posting for accountability because I AM STUBBORN AND REFUSE TO QUIT TRYING.
TAKE CARE OF MYSELF daily focus -
** Sleep - 6 hr 6 min I am not sleepy and once again I am not in bed before 1am. I blame the steroid and know it will soon be over.
** Hydration - over 100oz
** Morning Mile before coffee - Day #58 I immediately came inside and took a shower to keep rash clean.
** Morning papers before internet - Day #33
** Cronometer with pictures- Day #32
** Golden Hour exercise before frozen treat - day #29
** Music = Joy - Day #25 George Strait because he is steady and doesn't quit. I want to be someone who doesn't quit.
** Oral Care before D2S Day #12

August focus -
** Goal - Eat less than 1299 calories. Actual 1281 YES YES YES!!
** Goal - Eat more than 120g protein and/or over 40%. Actual 129g 40% YES YES YES!

The worst of the rash episode is past, and things are going in the right direction now. I still have 3 more days of steroids to take. It will take some time for the rash to disappear, but at least it isn't bright red and itchy now. Wearing clothes that don't press against the rash seems to be helping. I haven't worn a long & flowing dress like this in ???ever??? so it is a dissimilar experience for me. Every time I walk past a mirror, I am a bit surprised and fascinated by how it changes my appearance.

Well yesterday I stayed on my plan, got in 9k steps and drank my water.

I was up most of the night with bathroom issues and this morning I’m up 3’lbs and my stomach lots like I swallowed a basketball!!!

I have zero energy and still in my pjs. I ate a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Haven’t done that in months but I couldn’t look at another egg and I was hungry.

I had a miserable day yesterday. No energy, body and joins hurt all over my body, and I thought this must be how old people feel.

Restart today, and have decided to eat 1200 calories per day and expand the foods I am eating. Yesterday I ate two bowls of shredded wheat…. Breakfast and dinner cause that’s all that sounded go to me… and an apple with some shredded sharp cheddar cheese. I also drank a diet soda. Didn’t taste very good, but it helped my tummy.

TAKE CARE OF MYSELF daily focus -
** Sleep - 6 hr 28min. One more day of steroids.
⭐Hydration - over 100oz
⭐ Morning Mile before coffee - Day #60
⭐ Morning papers before internet - Day #35
⭐ Cronometer with pictures- Day #34
⭐ Golden Hour exercise before PJ's- day #31
⭐ Music = Joy - Day #27 1940's Radio Hits
⭐ Oral Care before D2S Day #14
⭐ 7k steps before frozen treat Day #1

August health goals -
⭐ Calories less than 1299 calories. Actual 1346
⭐⭐ Protein =>40% and >120g. Actual 40% 135g
I went over calories but am still awarding myself a gold star. 10pm last night I realized I was low in protein for the day, but only had about 100 calories left. I steamed a tilapia filet to bring my protein to 40% but that bumped my calories a little too much. I'm okay with that.

TAKE CARE OF MYSELF daily focus -
⭐ Sleep - 8 hours with a high sleep score. YES! I am done taking steroids so hopefully my sleep pattern will return.
⭐ Hydration - over 100oz
⭐ Morning Mile before coffee - Day #61
⭐ Morning papers before internet - Day #36
⭐ Cronometer with pictures- Day #35
⭐ Golden Hour exercise before PJ's- day #32
⭐ Music = Joy - Day #28 4:8 playlist
⭐ Oral Care before D2S Day #15
⭐ 7k steps before frozen treat Day #2

August health goals -
⭐ Calories less than 1399 calories. Actual 1390
⭐⭐ Protein =>40% and =>120g. Actual 43% 140g

I decided to adjust my August calorie goal by raising it 100 calories. I averaged 1407 calories this week and lost 3 lbs. I don't want to try to lose at a faster pace, so I am not intentionally trying for less calories.
I don't trust any of my data right now because it is being influenced by steroids. I will know more by the end of the month.
