I have forgotten about the Type 2 Diabetes Rebels FB group! I need to check out that group again. Thanks for the reminder.

TAKE CARE OF MYSELF daily focus -
⭐ Morning Mile - Day #113
⭐ Morning papers - Day #88
⭐ Cronometer - Day #87
⭐ Golden Hour - Day #83
⭐ Oral Care - Day #68
⭐ 7k steps - Day #53

October health goals -
⭐Calorie Goal =1200. Actual=1045. Four-week average = 1167
⭐ Protein Goal=38% or more. Actual=47% Four-week average = 38%
* Carb Goal = 70g or less. Actual=100. Four-week average = 105g
⭐ Averaged Weight change -1.1 lbs.

The scales finally moved in the direction I was hoping for this month.

Looking and learning about my carb intake. The highest carb food I ate yesterday was…
** Dave's Killer Bread, Organic, 21 Whole Grain and Seeds
** Pinto Beans
After months of not eating bread, I am enjoying eating half of a sandwich. I am not ready to give up that enjoyment unless I prove to myself that it is harming my health.
Continuing to document, watch, and observe.

TAKE CARE OF MYSELF daily focus -
⭐ Morning Mile - Day #115
⭐ Cronometer - Day #90
⭐ Golden Hour - Day #85
⭐ 7k steps - Day #55

October physical health goals -
* Calorie Goal =1199. Actual=1239. Four-week average = 1150
⭐ Protein Goal=38% or more. Actual=38% Four-week average = 39%
* Carb Goal = 70g or less. Actual=122. Four-week average = 101g
⭐ Weight change this month -0.9 lbs.

I have been tweaking and revamping the tracking of 29 daily to-do's that I am not consistent in doing each day. I like the format they are in now. However, I am not being consistent in doing them. I want to build consistency. The only way I have succeeded in doing that is a ME-vs-ME challenge. I don't want to set the bar too high and be a failure, so I am starting low. I think even on difficult days I should be able to do 70% of the daily duties. That is where I will start.

Daily Duties = October Goal=70% Yesterday=72% Monthly average=84%

I know this thread is about health and fitness, so I might be out of the boundaries of this thread's intended purpose. These daily duties are vital to my wellbeing and have an effect on my mental health. I have experienced depression and withdrawal from life when i get overwhelmed. Staying up with these daily duties is an indicator of how i am coping with life. Hopefully it is okay to include it in my TAKE CARE OF MYSELF daily focus.

Hum....I don't know what to post here now.

I have changed the way I track things. Now I am tracking and keeping stats on 35 things. I know no one (besides me) wants to see all that!

If this way of combining & tracking my health and fitness goals isn't successful, then I will return to what I have been doing here the last few months. I have lost 15 lbs while posting daily here so it does work.

Wow, LadyM, 15 lbs is wonderful but you also have some NSV (non scale victories)! I enjoy seeing your check in daily, however you want to do it! You are motivating to me!

Twins - Thank you for the kind words and encouragement.

Maybe I will just post here to confirm I am putting priority on TAKING CARE OF MYSELF. I don't want to let that slide to become crowded out with other things.

The new format I am using to track my daily health and duties is challenging me. I receive a grade everyday how I did. So far, I am a B student of learning to TAKE CARE OF MYSELF. I want to keep it challenging so I might not ever become an A student, and I am okay with that. I am mostly using it to ensure I remain aware if my grades start slipping in this life course. I want the alarm bells to go off if needed.

I had 8700 steps yesterday. I'm not worrying with step goal much this week. I had 60K steps last week and left foot still feel a little sore so taking it easier. I have workout this afternoon and only walked ddog one lap this a.m. I only had 4200 steps on Sunday.
