Oh - that's true Kitty, about the graphics. There is an arts and crafts thread here. Maybe you could put your dollhouse link there too?
I hope the meeting next week is helpful, FFB. If you're awake at night bc of work, then something needs to change. At least your boss will be away for a couple weeks. Enjoy the rugby match! Should I root for France? (Is Kitty cheering for Scotland?)
Glad there weren't any tornadoes, Smile.
Sorry about your cold, trissie, but I'm glad you can have a slow morning.
Gma, Wow - 78*F! Ugh on the snow forecast, but I know that's not unusual for you. Our temps are forecast to reach 70*F today - and then we'll be back down in the twenties Monday morning.

I didn't see your lists on the other site - and I didn't see this thread either, so I was wondering what happened to all your lists. LOL! Now I've got it figured out.

Last night: After dinner out, dh and I debated and finally reserved a bnb for our time in Olympic National Forest. We opted for a house near several beaches in the park; we can go watch the sunset or explore more spontaneously - would need to drive 5 minutes - or walk for 40 (2 miles). It does put us a little farther from the rainforest and Ruby Beach, but we'll make a day trip for each of those locales. And another entrance on the northern side of the park as well. It feels good to get that going.

Last week, I did not figure things out for my mom beyond paying the initial fees and figuring out that her lease started yesterday. I hope to have her moved maybe within a month? I don't know how available medical transport is, and I need a hospital bed in her room first. I definitely need to have things figured out before I go down again next weekend; I might make it a slightly longer trip to give me time to pack up some things.

Today: I got up too late to do the organized 5K. I'm going to get out and do my own personal version here in a bit. It's very windy today and the winds will just get higher as the day goes on, so jogging earlier is better. Also, rain is forecast for later today. Dh and I are attending friend B's DD's baby shower this afternoon from 2-4. Other things I need to do today: finish the chapter I'm tweaking for the writing curriculum project, start reading the chapter dh sent me, make a quick WF run, perhaps visit Fable - dh is watching her around noon. The fridge could use some cleaning. Perhaps a quick WF run. Dinner will be leftovers - pasta with tomato sauce. I will make more tomato sauce. Nothing is scheduled for this evening. :)

Next:
- back exercises
- dress to jog
- go jog

Later:
- s2s and self care
- squeegee and wipe down shower
- some qt
- tidy the kitchen
- make the bed
- put away clean bedding
- update toodledo and lists in notebook
- payroll: finish chapter in writing curriculum
- don't forget to update timesheet
- lunch at some point
- wrap books for baby shower (for a game)
- 2-4 baby shower
- WF
- clean fridge: progress
- dinner: pasta with tomato sauce, green salad
- after dinner clean up
- update health apps
- duo

TaDas!
- up; weighed self
- coffee
- email deletions; checked SHE websites; weather website

Has anyone heard from L Ann? I've just sent her a PM through the other site.

BTW, there's a thread here somewhere about the books we're reading. I know there are several readers in this group. Maybe we could share there?

I think I'm going to faint looking at some of these lists around here! You folks are ambitious!

Hi all. Looks like I made it. Wow thank you. That was really fast. So much appreciate you getting set up for us. I post lists but I tend to only use them when I have a day off. And i think I could divide it to most of your different sections. Cleaning. Crafts. Self care.. and most of it is future goals. I honestly think I'm going to redo it all when I get time.

I'm at mom's today. My family life has truly turned into sandwich generation. I have a dh. A ds15. Dd 24 next week is married and living in Alberta. Ds 26 is married and here. With a 3 week old grandson. Mom has dimensia. Dad yesterday had bypass surgery on his heart. I'm staying with mom this week and my sister went to surgery with dad.

Anyway more later. It's 8 am and I gotta get up and check in on mom. I'll copy my list over next post later on.

Thank you all. 😊

Welcome! I was Cowinkie on the other board and was great real life friends with Norma. I think that’s the name she used there and was good friends with AF.

Helia… I’ll join you with your back exercises.

It is way too windy to put dirt down on my side garden so that will need to wait. I also grow sunflowers. When I lived in AZ I had three huge gardens, but since moving to my FL community I can only grow them in large containers.

Welcome, nice to see you all, and all looking lovely this morning!
... ..use graphics or post any pictures/photos. (Maybe it's a bandwidth issue?). I don't want us to get thrown off our lovely new home for violating any policy,

lol - Kittykatt (Hi, Kittykatt!), we do use photos, and you will see them mostly in threads that are longer-term, monthly, etc. You nailed it - We have had bandwidth concerns in the past, literally getting to the point no one could post any more photos until mods went back and deleted, which becomes painstaking. SO, we ask now that photos that are placed into DAILY, fast-moving threads be deleted LATER by their poster, after they have been enjoyed, and other, current threads are taking that thread's place.

Otherwise, policy is just similar curtesy/respectfulness policies to those that long-term SHEs have expected at SHE sites all these years, and although our Parades of Daily Adventures bring chat about our civic and houses-of-worship events all the time, we don't post about religion or politics.

Twins, I have that reaction to the lists too! LOL! for many of us, our lists are just brain dumps - things that need to be done eventually.
I'm heading over to the floor to do mine now, RRose.
Glad you made it laurlind. How did you dad's surgery go?
Harriet, we tend to use a lot of emojis. Should we refrain from those also? Yes, you are a supportive courteous bunch for sure!

I have delayed my jog - because AC and LH from payroll were asking about the model essay material which I had only half-finished. (For context, this chapter was LH's to write but she chose a model essay that was confusing/ didn't work, so I volunteered to find a better one. . . ) So, I finished that -- and now it's 11:45. I'm going to do my back exercises and get my jog in. The advantage of my procrastination: the sun has come out! :D

Stopping by to drink a cup of coffee - spading the dirt in the veggie garden is heavy duty work! Especially this year, as I am adding sand, compost and granulated manure to improve the quality of the dirt.

helian, things are really moving with your mom (pun intended)! :-)
hi there, Nancy!
Twins, we just like our selection of tasks to ignore! At least me, anyways :-)
laura, glad to hear your dad made it through the surgery! My mom is actually likely to have a heart surgery too, and I prefer not to think about it yet. Enough to worry about as is!
I remember you, Rose! I think the person you are talking about was Normy? An English girl? We used to write back and forth on ICQ, as she was just an hour from my time zone.
Harriet, that's something I really like about the SHE communities - that it's the one place that's safe from the never-ending political debates!
