Good morning!

Welcome back and thanks for getting us going trissie! I hope you’re well rested and have a great week. I found meatballs in the freezer last week and made subs out of them, using barbecue sauce instead of a tomato sauce. They were delicious.

Kittykatt, glad you found your missing piece and can enjoy some cooler weather. I’m not sure how hot it gets where you are in the summer or if you even prefer cooler weather though so sending wishes you get what you prefer lol.

Time is flying by and I can’t seem to control it. I remember posting about moving my living room around and giving it a good cleaning which we enjoyed, it stayed clean for a few minutes lol. The rest of the week is a blur, cleaning, a neighbor gave us figs several days in a row so I must do something with them before they go bad, not really in a jam mood, found a cake recipe to try today. We went thrifting and grocery shopping. I’m trying to cook more meals at home. We seem to eat out whenever dh is home and it shows. I saw a pretty salad I want to make today, the typical tomato cucumber mix but they added chopped broccoli and Italian dressing. Dh is getting off early for an appointment so I need to skedaddle and get my dailies done.

Morning Everyone! I am doing laundry at the moment too, Trissie. We are on the last day at DD40’s house and I am hoping to take home mostly clean clothes. Tomorrow will be a travel day and then we plunge into the routine stuff on Wednesday and dealing with the time change.

Hi all. I am still typing from a phone, so no individual replies. Sorry about that! Maybe tonight after work. I got my modem from the Bell store. That was the easy part of my day. There were two people ahead of me in the lineup trading in their modems, so the power spike must have been pretty widespread. Got home to find that Germane had made an unholy mess in her pen while I was out. It has taken until now to finish scrubbing the floor and cleaning her paws up. I am sitting down to lunch. Thank you Yesterme, for the casserole. I ache all over, and I haven't started installing the modem yet. Mostly, I am thinking that I am going to need those joints tomorrow to clean for the inspection on Wednesday.
Today: set up modem and work the rest of my day. Tomorrow: focus on cleaning bathroom and dishes.
Wednesday: last day of work and the apartment inspection.
