LOL @ spam Kitty! It's not the best of American culture. We can confirm that some Koreans and Chinese consider it almost like a delicacy. I have not see that Monty Python skit. Now I want to.
I've never gone camping in the Netherlands, FFB. I've seen some campgrounds, though. That's an interesting observation. We always vacation near Vierhouten (near Nunspeet) because dh's family's (now his sister's) summer house is in that area. It's a pretty area.

Today is a travel day. We'll leave ds +F's home around 7:30 and arrive home in Michigan around 5pm. 3 hour time difference. We'll be home from the airport around 6:15.

Morning all. Doggedly I just saw your last night response. That's one way to look at it though I doubt that would connect. . Not going to push it but I would really like it if he would call and tell us they were going to drop in lol. He wanted to check out dh plans for the yard work project. Going to borrow his old excavator back if we can so we can fix the well area and prevent the run off river.

Anyway I need to get moving. Not doing music today. So that gives me more time. It's been nice though cause the couple I'm playing with now they pick the songs I just have to find copies for myself and practice them a bit and her voice is the lead. I can concentrate on piano and sing behind her.

But not today. I need to get in the shower. And catch up at least what I didn't do yesterday. I was feeling just off enough I didn't even clean up supper. Everything hurt and was on the edge of a wierd feeling that could have ended in anxiety attack and I don't know why.

Hi, all. I might have miscalculated. The forecast was for possibility of rain in the morning and less in the afternoon, so I slept and lounged in the morning. Now that I'm up, I see that it has not rained, and there is still the possibility of rain until well after the courier outlet is closed. So I am eating my veg and rice for breakfast, and then I will take the boxes to the courier outlet first thing. Unless it rains, in which case I will leave it for tomorrow.

I guess I'm not doing too well on shifting to normal hours, trissie, LOL.
I can see why you would not be enthusiastic about an outing that will just generate complaints from the children to whom you are trying to give a treat. But I think that Lucy will be another matter. It will be more like staying up for the first moon landing. You might not fully appreciate it as a child, but as an adult you will be happy to have seen it.

Will you go camping in France, FrenchFly, or do you have a different type of vacation in mind?

I view laundry hanging as proof that I actually do housework. Also, dishes in the drying racks. It's too easy for people to notice all the things not done and no idea of the work already put in.
