Thanks for starting this, blessed and Harriet. I love Christmas! I may not post much but this will definitely keep me moving toward a warm, mellow Christmas time. I’ve started clearing out a shelf in my curio cabinet for Christmas items. I hope to decorate for fall this week to get it out of the way lol. There will be hints of what’s to come around the house though. The real fun is in December for me.

I had the garage cleaned out already - it's nice to have that job done before the holidays

for a heavy work day - fix it day - I need to sand the front door before painting.

I have 2 gifts in - I need to order one more.

I want to do the following in September:
get my mom's books printed and put in frame

make the halloween things that I want for this year
have the young man put the christmas lights up before the cold comes
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Blessed, you've reminded me I need to check our lights still work, and to start buying batteries for them. (They are all battery powered because of the cats -Matilda especially, likes to chew! And they have AA barrows as they can't be swallowed. Out vet bills are huge enough already, so I do everything I can to keep everyone safe!) :D

In my yard sale adventure got some lites could be put on tomato cages
for trees or angels. Not sure yet. I do not have an outside plug.
Thought DD might be interested in them as she does quite a bit with lites.
Me not so much b/c it usually involves being off the ground for stringing.

I will take the red & green baskets to the storage zone I think I have room for them
now as I did quite a bit of decluttering of that last year.

Patio got cleaned for zone in the work last week or two.
I have some planters & pots to declutter as they did not get used this yr.

I started taking the plants that look bad out of a few planters
helper and mom are chucking corn - a good thing to do.

I start the front door area this week as well.
I also need to get screens redone.
