I used to use the Clark's shop in Newcastle for school shoes but we didn't have to book, dd used Wyndsors and I think A is going to go there.

What a bad situation for G. Dgs is 13 and was given a pastoral team before dd died and she was only ill for about 3 months and delirious for about 1 month. Last school term he went for extra reading each day with a teaching assistant (who was coincidentally his one to one at junior school), Dh and I saw the Senco last term, she told us this is only one thing in place for him. Senco is special educational needs coordinator, she is wonderful and got to know dd quite well.

We are going food shopping and lunch at Spoonis today. I need to know if he still has all his equipment, he is being evasive about this.

I'm glad DGS is getting help, Vergers. Does his school have a uniform/ kit list online you could have a look at, so you can check if DGS needs anything?

I think G is seeing the Senco team as well - the school think she may have undiagnosed dyslexia and possibly ADHD as well. Apparently she's having difficulty understanding things she's just read. However, there are areas she shines at like dancing - she's been taking modern dance lessons for some time, and last term also started ballet and the teacher says she's a "natural", so it's good she has something she enjoys and is good at :D
