Nancy, I got a tracking number for that housecleaning book.
Guess where it is?
AUSTRIA!
This may be a big scam. I’ll never learn. 🙄

Good evening, everybody! Posting from bed at the end of a somewhat well-spent day. Went to church, where I read and DH helped with Communion. The Class of 1980 from the nearby then-girls school (it merged with the boys school a bit over a decade later) was having their reunion and filled a small section of the church. One of the women (whom I really know only a little) waved me over and wanted to talk. She used to sing in the choir but never came back after Covid.

Had brunch after church, sat a little bit, and then went on some errands with DH — picked up my ADHD meds, got DH a pair of shoes (back to school tax holiday going on right now), gassed up the car, and picked up milk and some nuts for my trail mix. Came home and watched the end of the ballgame (we lost). Goofed off a bit then had dinner and watched Phineas and Ferb with the family. I couldn’t tell you what I did between then and bedtime except help DH with some crossword clues. So, somewhat well-spent, except a little time-wasty at the end. Well, just before the end — actually got upstairs and put my meds up for the week before 11 pm!

Congratulations, Twins! Well deserved, I’m sure!

I will often go places (most often girls’ night) I will get there early to park near the door and then regret it when I’m parked in by a friend who never wants to call it a night.

lucylee, your DDIL is a nurse, right? It seems that back injuries are such an occupational hazard for them!

Dinner on the grill and time in the shade definitely count as time well-spent!

Sweet dreams, everybody!

Are any of you watching The Gilded Age?
Oh my goodness… the season finale is next Sunday night and they’ve got some relationships that need to be fixed!
Tomorrow is another day.
