Morning helian. It is always hard to remember how far you are thru your day Trissie when we are just getting started! Since there was a tissue in the laundry it looks like vacuuming is up next. I think I am going to head to the island this morning and see how far I can get with the bank with the estate issue and then on Monday go to the small town to drop off papers so I can do some exercise classes at the senior center.

L.Ann, I am East Coast Time Zone minus six - even an hour earlier that kittykatt! Plus, I try to stop working after 2pm (my official hours are 7:30-2:00), as I would get stuck doing stuff till who knows when (ugh, just caught myself replying to emails at 3:45
helia, a friend of mine has four siblings, each of them married, with 3-4 kids each. They have a set day (I think first Sunday of the month?) when they celebrate everybody who had anything significant since last family gathering! You either make it there or put yourself on the list for the next gathering

Temps in the 50s/80s (around 14/27c) this week. Lovely.
Dogs are outside enjoying it. I’m having a lazy morning with dh for the moment. We need to run errands soon.

Bama, a sheetcake saves me the "mom, I am hungry, what's there to eat?" question! seriously though, daily baking is budget-boosting if you have 3 teens and a pre-teen plus, the "snack cakes" that I make, they're neither as elaborate nor as sweet as their american counterparts would likely be - it's kinda "mix an egg dough, add fruit or cocoa or sweetened ricotta blobs, bake, and possibly top with melted chocolate or lemon icing, slice and serve or package in lunchoxes". "Lunchbox-stable" is the biggest factor for me!

Hello

Thanksgiving is this weekend. My family tonight, Hubby's family on Sunday.

Missed yesterday, as I headed to a Wellness Walk with striking colleagues. Then to the city to see friend visiting from Ontario. Great walk and light lunch with her.

My wins for the house were I didn't create chaos as I got ready to leave, S&S bathroom, remembered to take cheque to deposit and library book to return and stopped at car wash on the way home.

It is Thanksgiving this weekend in Canada. Being further north, we have a shorter growing season than the U.S., so we celebrate our harvest earlier.
I hope that you get over your cold soon.

That is a huge hurdle for many of us, Kittykatt, to remember the special place where we put things so that we wouldn't forget them. Well done on remembering yours!

Hi, Bama. Enjoy the cooler weather. One of the things that I got to enjoy on my trip, going and returning, were the fall colours. Not so much at Quebec City, but more around Ottawa and Montreal the trees had started to turn. A pleasure every fall.

Sometimes not making a mess is great gift to ourselves, Paigealle.
