I have reminded myself of why my goals in this area are important and put it on a 4x6" card.
Got my exercise goal in today.
More of a challenge with out a walk and not good weather.
Stat bike helped.
I did get a bit over 3 mi. in today doing stuff that made me feel better.
Some was fueling a rig and shopping at the small store near by.
Stairs doing laundry too.

Fri. ~ CI was up at 1:00 a.m. till 3:00 ish / bs #76 had food.
this a.m. @ 8:30 #86

My hip was out of place could not sleep finally got it back in with my figure 8 on one leg exercise yea.
Back to bed at three. Sipping tea.
To change it up I can use my gazelle.

I need to focus on health and fitness and have meaning to get back here. I was lamenting yesterday that I don't feel enthusiastic about my workouts, and the cold weather and dh being home to walk the dog have curtailed my step count too - to the point I'm not even keeping up.

I think I'm feeling less conscientious because I've lost weight with Zepbound, a GLP-1 injectable.

**PHEW** that was a close one. My goal is 10 circle rounds, but I track it like most of my numbers—by averaging. Yesterday, with snow falling and the cold wind below freezing, I was reluctant to walk much outside. Still, I managed 7 rounds. Now, with very little wiggle room in my average number, I’ll need to be diligent and walk a few extra rounds to build a cushion in case another day like that comes along.

Twins - BWTG on the weight loss and the confidence boost.

Boredom and lack of enthusiasm is one of my biggest clues that I need to make a change. It doesn't have to be a forever change but simply something to feel new and different. We are all different so what will work for one will not work for another. I would be seeking something energizing - a spin class, a dance classes, a walking club - anything that feels challenging and moves our body. If I could attend RR drumming class, I would be first one in line.

Congratulations on the weight loss, Twins! So you think the short winter days could be contributing to your lack of enthusiasm for exercise? I find it really hard to be motivated this time of year, especially on days like yesterday when it rained nearly the whole day, and was starting to get dark at 3 pm, and all I want to do is stay in bed, sleep and eat chocolate! We had a chocolate binge yesterday - "testing" one of the tins of chocolates.I had bought for Christmas. As well as buying.one.for our house I've also bought tins for people like my vet who have been good to us this year, to say thank you. So I thought we ought to start our tim and check it was ok. Curiously enough, I don't feel like eating any more today, so maybe whatever deficit existed has been replaced! DH is out today and this evening, so I'm trying to see it as an opportunity to get things done. And I keep reminding myself we are just over 2 weeks until the shortest day, and then the days gradually start to get longer again. :D

Lady M, if the rain stops I'll try and go for a splashy walk today . There's no danger of ice as it's currently 11C, , but I don't really want to get rained on! :lol:
