I have updated my wishlist gotten my amz. order done.
I will get a couple of undated planners one is a goal planner; the other is a monthly one.

I have finished reading the 12 week year and been using the work book that goes with it called a field guide.
It is for a quarterly system that I've been using for at least a year after hearing the audio book last year.
And a few years back came aware of a 90 day systems and started using it then.

I ordered the 12 week year for writers and the work book that goes with it to use in Jan.
Thinking on Paper has been shipped found that one used!

I am looking forward to these coming I'll be doing some planning NYEve and in the coming week and in Jan.
as these items come in.

I am pleased these items were on sale as it is late in the planning year.

Nancy, I have the book 12 Week Year but have never managed to take it to heart. I should re-read. Thinking genealogy goals...I want to publish i.e. get online or into print more of my research. Have been thinking about blogging this year perhaps? or setting a goal of sending a small something off to publish quarterly? And I need to get cracking on my renewal for BCG...this renewal will take me to age 75.

Doing some blogging or even publishing sounds wonderful, Twins'. You'd be good at it.

Well, I purchased the inexpensive planner, which is the simplest on the inside but also the closest to the format I'm used to using. I will need to continue stamping my same habit tracker grid for checking off of Clean, Declutter, Laundry, Sewing, Garden and Exercise. That's not a problem. It would have been nice to change to one that already had that printed on each weekly page spread, but the rest of the page was crowded and awkward with several extra parts, so, no.

The main difference is that I'll need to draw my own one-third division line through each day to have a place to record food. Not a problem, just don't see why they stop printing the more helpful pages.

The other difference is that I can find absolutely NONE that have note pages within the month anymore, and I have gotten so used to that help. There was one (one - the "Note It") that had 50 note pages, but they were all at the back in the form of a notebook there, not something at your fingertips going along with the year. For the same additional cost, I bought a set of four 80-page A-5 size spiral notebook journals. Hopefully, this won't be too cumbersome, but will still let me appreciate some notes in a similar space at the desk. I'll need to make monthly tabs, I suppose.

Disk planner users - I know there would have been a way to customize with note pages if I'd made my own disk planner. Just not ready to spend the money, I guess. It seems like a commitment, and then if I didn't like it... ..

Off topic
Just a quick note that these hardcover floral lined journals, at $2.50 each in a pack of 4 on Ariver, are exactly as described and seem good quality, smooth cover, nice individual wrapping, so I could decide to gift one or two. Exactly the same height as the A-5 planner I chose, and barely narrower, so not a bad answer at all for my need for note pages in planning at the desk, without taking up too much space. There were others that looked the same, I just picked the more inexpensive price, so I assume they're available other places, too.

I should be able to manage some tabs by myself easily. Doesn't need to be perfect because this is for practicality. Actually, not a bad idea to carry it each evening to bedside to jot in the same place any notes that come to me overnight.

I noticed Nancy was expecting her planner. Mine has been postponed until a tomorrow arrival, but that's okay since today was too busy to appreciate it.

I like the A5 size best. It's 1/2 of an 8.5 x 11 sheet and will fit into most my purses when it needs to go with me.

I use the Prayerful Planner -- it's has a two-page spread for each week. I don't use it exactly as it is laid out (for example, I disregard the hours since it begins at 6:00 a.m., I think) but it adapts pretty well to my life.
Of course, I have a calendar in the bathroom, which is where I keep my planner, and I record my weight and exercise on this calendar, along with pertinent dates and appointments.
I have a calendar in the kitchen also for dates, appointments, etc...
AND a mini calendar in my purse.
Y'all knew someone who "over thinks" everything like I do would go for over kill in the calendar department, right?
Tomorrow is another day.

I have nearly finished the 12 week Year for writers just one more section on meeting with writing groups.
I have read the work book The Weekly Writing Routine. I am enjoying them both as I like these type of books the best!

My planners that came were not quite what I expected. Sigh so I undated old pages unused and am using them.
Mine I was expecting to be a goal setting planner nope just calendar & notes pages with flimsy covers but I do like the
not cardboard dividers 4 plastic ones. The other one was nice had fun colors in the cover and not as flimsy.
I do have the style of vertical up places for logging my activities in after I do stuff.

The H.P. does not make the pages I like the best any more so I changed to the student planner for my writing it has block horizontal for my time blocking I use as a writing planner.

I LOVE planners and planner supplies and stickers and post its and lists and all the things!
I’ve used the monthly pocket calendars you see at Hallmark stores and moved to weekly, daily, happy planner, tul disc notebooks with preprinted planners are a fave because I can change the page order easily but I haven’t used one in a couple of years. For the past two years I used a spiral home planner by the passionate penny pincher but it didn’t have all the things I wanted. I went ahead and ordered one for 2026 and to my surprise they have added all sorts of things (lists) I love:
Monthly calendar
Weekly calendar
Daily task lists - I will still have to modify these somewhat
Weekly home project schedule
Spring cleaning list
Yard and home maintenance list
Company is coming checklist
Vacation checklist
Christmas checklist
Emergency prep checklist
Bill payment schedule for the year on one page
Personal goals
Books to read/podcasts to listen to
Important dates page
Dream big home project list
2026 financial goals
Scripture reading plan
Budget tracking each month
Habit tracking
Meal planning
Several blank Notes pages
Note page at beginning of each month
Pocket
Ruler
Stencil
Stickers - but I prolly will use my own, I ordered from planner girls for years and need to use up all of the washi and themed stickers
I’m a happy camper. :) Link to see what it is.

Bama, that looks good. Thanks for the explanation. I will need to try again to really see the photos - keeps taking me to another page.

My planner did arrive today.

Note to self: need to order even earlier next year, because everything that could go wrong with my delivery did! I think end-of-year may be a chancy time for ordering by mail.

Anyway, it all ended well and there was no damage.

The interior has lines in gray, and it turns out to be very easy to just use a thin pencil to rule a vertical line to separate one-third of the day spaces on the weekly pages. Looks as though it came like that.

Have to recommend :
That "super sticky" type of Post-It note that I used A YEAR AGO to make the sticker to remind me about recycling is still sticking great after being moved 26 times (?) in 2025, and thumbed through plenty of times, too. I just moved it right over to the new planner. Sticks great, still makes a tab.

(On the other hand, post-its that are not name brand are consistently falling away. No matter how cute they are, they're not worth it.)

Another thing that just won't quit is the bit of bright grosgrain ribbon on a large paperclip that kept my place all 2024. I moved it over to the new planner and it looks like new. I think I'll make another for the notebook.

Bama, I bought the PPP planner a few years ago, but it just totally overwhelmed me. There was no way I could keep up with all the tasks! Do you follow it every day? If you do, boy… I bow in awe! :)
Of course, you’ve been here long enough to see that I have trouble keeping up with any plan. Sigh.
Tomorrow is another day.
