Wednesday
Heart pill for dog. Picked up food and set alarm.
Cleaned up after dog
Put away dry dishes
Put away one drying rack
Started to CUOP
Cleaned up after dog, who could NOT have a treat because it was less than one hour since her heart pill.
Dog walked away in disgust after unsuccessfully mugging for treat.
Started salmon cooking for dog
1-hour alarm went off
Opened a new container of dog food, and this was found acceptable
Breakfast for dog
Germane actually licked her plate out into the hall and flipped it over to draw my attention to her empty plate
Gave her some dog food
While I’m writing this, she did it again
Gave her another spoonful of dog food
Flipped the salmon and put it back in the toaster oven
Fed dog again: this was the one-too-many, as she can smell salmon and is not to be fobbed off with dog food, even from a new container
Topped up kibble and put her kibble dish back in her pen

I really want to get back to spending some time on my course, and time is slipping away from me. So I will just thank Kittykatt for starting us off, and wave to all, and get on with things.

Kittykat the plan is Saturday to Saturday so far. I've already given up on Casper for the morning cause he's wandering the yard already meaning he's probably not going to need to unless we went for a walk and it would not be first time for him. Btdt already im sure. I think he's ok now I just have to go get more food from the vet. I'll probably get a bag of his other stuff too and mix it. I honestly think we caught it early enough it should control with the diet. As for someone else asking about treats for potty.... I did. Worked really well with puppy stage. He was fully trained by 6 months or so. A few months after that I stopped using them cause it wasn't necessary and now he lives outside and goes whenever he wishes lol. Never goes inside -- except a couple times now and that was how I could tell something was off. He honestly comes inside for a couple hours in the evening and wants to go back outside. Maybe once I don't need the woodstove it won't be too hot in here lol. And once he blows his winter coat πŸ˜†. I love my big ole sammy. He's just a lot of dog for me and I have yet to learn how to manage his strength.

That's why I'm wanting to make sure L is prepared for him. I think she would like to walk him and bring him in some. I just don't want her getting hurt. His over friendly self would never do it on purpose I just didn't get him all the way stopped from the sudden pull on the leash.

Anyway.. laundry switched. Dw reloaded. Shower done.

β˜€οΈGood morning!

Thanks for the start, kittykatt. Pretty butterfly. I think anything counts as a shem in a pinch. I’ve even used logos β€œjust do it” :)

Trissie

Kitkat, I’m so sorry you’re hurting. I look for old comedy shows when I want a distraction, the Andy Griffith show, the golden girls, I even found Jack Benny. I’m glad they can still be found.

Laura, hope it all works out. Have a good time!

Wtg, Dogged and Germane!

Thank you, gma. My quote was from the old boards and it motivates me (sometimes) to read it.

Feels like Monday. I think it’s the last day of our brief cold spell so I need to get out and enjoy it as much as possible. I don’t do summer heat. πŸ€ͺ Dh left a trash can at mom’s so I also need to try to fill it up today before the trash goes to the road.

That was fun. I am up to image creation with AI.

Samoyds are certainly lovable dogs, Lauralind. You are being very considerate to your dog-sitter.

Hi, Bama!

On to get some breakfast.
The problem with cooking salmon as Germane's treat is that I tend to sample it too, so it goes faster. There is no such temptation with white fish, LOL.

Happy Wednesday! The messy stressy part of the week is over, hopefully! The work thing that was stressing me out is done - it was the initial submission, so it's not over, but this part is. Of course, there's everything else that I was supposed to be doing in March that got carried from the kitchen (not even shoved to the back burner :-) ) so that's what I will be starting on tomorrow. But for now, I am home, sun is shining (I still had to scrape the car this morning - it's winter gloves in the morning and t-shirt in the afternoon kind of weather), and I have about an hour before DH brings DBD from her scout session.

kittykatt, I could do without seeing sun rise and rather sleep in, thank you very much! :-)
sorry about the pain, kitkat, that sucks :-(
if I don't "see" you, lauralind, safe travels and enjoy the time with family!

TaDas
- morning madness
- very busy day at work
- trip to notary public to pick up inheritance paperwork and sign off everything
- coffee with aunt I to discuss upcoming logistics
- got gas - price is outrageous, but what can I do?
- coordinated DBD's pick up over the phone
- morning routine
- load of darks sorted and running
- emptied DW
- started DW on cleaning cycle
- check news - is our water still contaminated? (long story, somebody messed up, we've had non-drinkable water since last Friday) - maybe? nobody knows it seems

ToDos
- 15 outside
- midday routine
- clean DBD's room

You're already doing quite well on that water, Bama! Kinda hard to imagine you're already dreading heat when I was scraping the car this morning!
Well, your doggie is certainly eating better than most humans, Dogged - I mean, salmon? who can afford that! :-) (salmon is REALLY expensive here. And I mean... it costs more than a good steak!)

TaDas
- 15 outside
- midday routine
- clean DBD's room

ToDos
- assemble lasagna
- clean DS14's room
- afternoon routine

Big squishy hug, trissie. You’re almost past hump day and the weekend is coming!
I’d be scraping bugs off my car here, not snow and ice lol.

I need a push and an extra dose of mojo!

I haven’t been working on my list but I have:

Shopped for ceiling fan light fixture, concrete paint, shelf liner, oil funnel, scissors, groceries, shirt, hair color, laundry detergent, coffee, spackle… all random and most could wait :P

Charged phone bc I have been on it so long

Ok it’s Bible time!

I had to focus on getting ready for class this morning and didn't have time to pop in here before payroll. I worked payroll at home - and then went in and worked payroll at payroll - and got home about 2:10 pm, an hour ago. I've just finished some lunch, and I need to find some mojo to keep this day going. I need to be otd again in 2.5 hours for dinner reservation.

WTG with your Bible reading/ study, Bama! And another Big WTG on all that shopping!
Kitty, yay for sun and LOL at Matilda! :D
I see you're prepping for your trip, Lauralind. Sounds like you have Casper all sorted.
I'm sorry you're still in pain, kitkat. I guess you have an active day today with the grands and can't rest much?
Germane is indeed lucky, Doggedly. Our dogs used to just get bits of chicken or hot dog for a snack. Maybe Germane won't eat certain types of snacks?
I'm glad the first part of the submission is behind you now, trissie. I hope you were able to enjoy the sunshine and the evening with your family.

Next:
- gather letter for postal place
- postal place errands
- make the bed

Later:
- can I go to the gym?
- payroll: update S3 GGT sheet
- bring in firewood
- order bird seed - we're out
- 6 - 7:30 dinner with CG2
- duolingo
- update health apps
- read?
- other things?

TaDas!
- up; weighed self - down :?:
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- payroll: made syllabus
- payroll: found and set up get to know you activity
- payroll: made slides for IW D1
- payroll: made another activity
- reclaimed kitchen
- back exercises
- s2s and self care
- made salad to take with me
- printed out: syllabus, get to know you activity, another activity, and 2 other handouts
- 11-1 payroll: taught IW D1
- ate salad in meeting
- 1 - 1:30 payroll: Campus Academics meeting with AC
- 1:30 - 2 payroll: GGT work
- update timesheet (some work is not included in my salary)
- home; lunch
- after lunch clean up
