we have had the heat until today 41 degrees this am. You should be getting the cool winds soon d twins!

it is now 53 degrees

power washed dogs pool - It is now hanging on the one wall in the garage
" " my picnic folding cart - as I put some pots with plants in them - dirt was everywhere (I had stored the plants in them so I could plant them in the ground.... took a long time for me to get it done! )
I had an order for the landscape place to plant my plants after I broke my other ankle - never showed up for it. All but 2 plants are in.
I am still waiting for the mulch - I hope they will get it in before it snows.

working in the garage as I am waiting for dd older to go to cost co
tossed a huge black bag of stuff from my side of the garage - dh started putting his stuff on my side of the garage - garden/house stuff is my side. He has a tendency to throw things in drawers everywhere so he has duplicates like you wouldn't believe.I go in and put things in the spaces they belong. this way he can find things instead of having to purchase them over and over again.

He has wood floor pieces from 22 years ago. If they don't use them when they refinish the floor then I will get rid of them.
poor thing gets so anxious when I work on the garage.... today ... We have to put your car in the garage this winter" I am doing this so I can do that. his chair and fridge is in the middle of my space

took apart hammock and put it on shelves in the garage
took umbrella and put in garage
tossed things I now longer needed
all but 4 pots emptied and put away in the garage
put holes in the bottom of my new large pot
ready to put the outside chairs in the 3 season room for painting this winter

Worked some on the patio clean up and carport before cold weather sets in.
Making progress bit by bit.

on 10/22

cut down the nepeta cosmos roses in back and put the remainder in compost
lots of work but did it!
took all the couch and chair from 3 season cutting up party out to the side of the house which the junk k ing young men picked up. All the bags and stone I didn't want are gone!!!
did some sweeping but not enough. (Hoping dh will finish).

Made my list of chores for the remainder of the work that needs to be done before winter

I am going to need to clean out the beds where my tomatoes were. I still have basil and zinnias going tho, so may wait until those bite the dust. I'm still cutting zinnias for small bouquets - so cheerful!

Before we leave on Wed I need to get my pansies into pots!
