After a solid month of using the pathway method for the SHE cards, I’m pleased with both the effort and the results. I’m also a bit surprised at how consistently I’ve stuck with it. Now, with a month’s worth of data, I’m starting to see patterns in the hours when I’m at my best and the times when I’m less inclined.
Each hour I finish all the cards assigned for that time, I color the cell orange. It’s such a simple action, but it gives me that satisfying, feel-good reward. I hope I never forget or underestimate the boost that comes from earning and receiving an award, no matter how small.
After five months of maintaining the exact same weight, the scale finally showed a drop of 1.5 lbs this month. Comparing my numbers to previous months doesn’t reveal any clear reason why. The only thing I know that’s different is using the pathways, which calms my mind and reduces stress. That’s my best guess.
