This is a week where cold cold weather and this online webinar have intersected, and left me with not many steps. When the weather has been nicer, I've often walked the dog at every break because I was alone in the house. Dh is here now, so he's walking her some and I'm not walking as much. This is just an off week, and I accept that.

I am finishing up January habit with amazement that I actually made progress. A month ago, fasting was such a big mental hurtle that I didn't even want to say that I was fasting. I had to manipulate my thoughts to focus on my eating times and not think about what that meant to the other hours.
I am pleased that now I don't have such a big mental barrier to decide when to eat ....to decide when to fast.
I don't know if this is weird or not. I just know my emotions would panic and rebel with the thought of giving up food for a few hours.
ANYway, I will continue with daily fasting and listening to my body. I am comfortable with 8 hours of eating
(16 hours fasting) now and my body seems to be trending toward something closer to 6 hours
(18 hours fasting). Eating between 10am - 4pm seems to be what works for my body on most days. I have no intention of becoming rigid about this. When social eating events happen outside of these times, I welcome them. It is easy to expand the eating hours or slide the eating time around to include fun events.

Lady Maverick thank you for sharing about your fasting habit. It seems you have a very healthy way to include fasting into your life. I used to fast one day a week for awhile, only for 15-16 hours. You make me want to try again.
Bama last time I posted on this thread I thought, what an interesting habit. I hope I can find time to catch up on your posts and see what new things you have tried this month.
Hi kittykatt, Twin's Mom, everyone else (can't scroll back further) !
End of the month. I used an index card to track my 5 daily habits :
MR - basic morning routine - Move C/W - either Cardio or Weights, daily - MicroMove - tiny times of movement at payroll or during the day - Time for me - to read, maybe write, maybe think, maybe journal - K - pelvic floor exercises. 1 minute minimum, at bedtime.
Counting the score at the end of the month :
MR . . . . . : 30 out of 31 . . ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓░
Move C/W : 19 out of 31 . . ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓░░░░░░░░░░░░
MicroMove : 23 out of 31 . . ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓░░░░░░░░
Time4me . : 11 out of 31 . . ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░
K . . . . . . .: 20 out of 30 . .▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓░░░░░░░░░░

I love this, FrenchFlyBebe!
Not getting my step goal in this week, and of course, I have not worked out this week either. My weight is down by 3.5 lbs., primarily because I overindulged in December. I stopped Dry January on Monday of this week - somehow the stress of the class and change in routines and tiredness - it just wasn't important. "Damp January" was still a success.
It's protein and stretching beginning tomorrow. I hope I can keep both plates in the air...
