2025!!!!! Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, winter again.

Actually this onset has not really been overnight. Apparently this aneurysms was present the specialist said for decades. The last 4 or 5 years her memory was failings some but she was good till what 2 years ago. Then she started substituting all the wrong words and such. She fell once last winter on the stairs. Thankful there's a hole now in the drywall. She missed the studs of seemed ok. I don't know if that was that. She just slowly went downhill the last couple years then fell once more in june last year. That was ok. But a day or so later she looked like maybe she had a mini stroke. A bunch of tests. It wasn't. But they for the aneurysm. A few weeks later after they did angioplasty surgery to block it. Was supposed to slow the progression and prevent stroke. Already then she had quite minimal words.

The change is gradual. It does feel like she's reverting back to a child. She loves snuggles and hugs and tucking her in when I stayed with her was special.

It definitely runs in the family. Her mom. Her brother. My other grandpa. It concerns me sometimes. I'm pretty sure it's just the stress but I feel scares I might get it earlier.

Mom is 76. Both my older kids got married a month apart last spring. I am so grateful she still could remember and be there. I have a 6 week old grandson now. Life has changed rapidly and sent me on quite a roller coaster in the last year.

I am going to the hospital at 3 pm so that my brother can go to a meeting up north.
dd older stopped at the hospital and said mom was more with it.

I am gently okay.

I need to start moving - the dogs just ate and will need to rest before I can play with them. I just ate.

home and making lunch for myself

I doubt if mom can live back here again -I am sad about that. poor thing! I wish I could make life easier for her.

I had to laugh - you just have to give in and accept the humor of something - dd younger is coming in and my car decided to die today. I couldn't believe it! it can't believe it! it's such a small thing bt the car gods could have waited - oh my goodness!!!

I imagine your mom will have mobility issues along with everything else. That is too bad. I hope you can sort it out. Maybe she will recover more than expected.

brother fixed put in a new battery - miracle.
the place where my mom lived before has a bed for her in rehab/nursing/recovery - keeping fingers crossed. saying lots of prayers
she stood today and took a couple steps.

very grateful

worked outside for a couple hours -played with d dogs a couple times
I need to change and do an errand and stop by the hospital
