yesterday I spent the day doing bills and balancing checkbook. sigh not enough money for the month when I thought I would. I know I have a com ed bill coming and a nicor bill as well as I was a few days late with the last one. (so as soon as it comes in, I have to pay it, same with water). I had a landscape service this year and it was a must as I couldn't do it while dh was in the hospital and sick but the fall clean up was wow expensive. But dh and I realize we never would have made it. But everything balanced. (i hope )

trying to touch rooms as I go through them, such as a pick up of a few things here and there and put away.

this morning 2 loads of laundry done some drying. I woke at 4:15 and I am so tired but ddhas to go to school.

goals: change my classes.. just go to one that is necessary to get degree. (it requires a lot of observations)
what I want is to take the other classes but can't afford it so might as well get what requires a lot of work out of the way. done but not happy about it. took special needs class which will be fun and dropped the rest. so now I only have a $300 bill instead bill not including books. (local community college).
I wanted a full time schedule. but it is what it is.

(we have had it for 10 years and dkids are grown) so at least cancel family membership

Working on a few cards yesterday got the kitchen reclaimed and
the sewing zone is looking better and usable now!
That is such a relief! Yea for progress!!!

I feel totally overwhelmed:

acceptance with out putting my self down (glad I broke that habit years ago) or letting being overwhelmed shut me down. my home is not being touched because I am not home enough this last week and it looks horrible. Wish I could ask all of you to come over and help, that's how suface cluttered it's looking. I don't like it. I am behind on bathrooms, laundry, and put away and floors (with 2 shedding labs/lab shepherd) you can imagin another dog could be made of the black dog hair.
I really have tried touch a spot in each room each day but the "stopping" into the house to eat and sleep does not help clean.

making chore cards again for family. also acceptance: even though he is feeling better I have to do the work.
I gave up my daily cards as I got used to doing them but now can see dd15 and I will have to do a jar where we pull out daily cards to get the work done.

dh is NOT going to like it that we aren't going anywhere today... he is very kind about it. but I can feel his anxitousness. I feel bad.
dd15 doesn't have pilates today

dd15 has a test on greek and roman culture and history so I will make up a test (That will take an hour) so I will put timer on and do a couple questions every 30 minutes instead of tothing.
dinner: croc pot chili chicken from a package
paint for car knicks (2 places: dodge and hynda)

wish: work on Christmas lights while it's warm
dejunking: I brought 2 frames in and hope to get something out.

errands I HAVE to do today: cat food

tuesday being started: november 9, here I come! positive attitude

mom christmas so far: getting cd copied of music, pbs special I ordered,
cousins pictures done
other ideas: sil has a plane and dd15 and I will be making a coffee cup with the painting of her plane on them and dbro goes to trader joes every time he comes and I will get some of his favorites and a gift card.
dh: shirts and undergarments
dd15 had an idea: drum set, dd21 nothing, me: non stick pan and small wisk
laundry: wash
starting room by room 8:00 am
9:51 am worked on paperwork...opening mail, listing spending, listing charges questions for test for dd15, took me 1hour 50 min (wow no wonder when I put it off for 2 weeks or 3 it takes me days to catch up)
trying to keep track how long it actually takes me)
12:40 wow where is the day going... I am so overwhelmed.. happy but overwhelmed. dh feeling stuck and it is hard as I know he is unhappy. I just can't keep going out all day. we went to target and it was not enjoyable as he was looking for ice cream and since people couldn't find it (they just made our store a food store too) he was frustrated and told me he was going to sit in the car. he doesn't know how to keep himself busy.
hadn't planned on going to target but the cats were out of food. (I would buy extra but I don't want to leave them on a shelf in case of mice)

I have some holiday cards up today.
Sorting Christmas decorations the kids and I made when they were young.
Might be a bit of a challenge today.
Hoping to make some progress on this.

Trash day h. is shredding and has the rest of the trash dumped & it's ready to go out.
