My ADHD is off the rails. It must be in the air today d rose!

Time is not something that is easy for me to see either. I am always pleasantly surprised when I finish something. :D 8-)

finished 3 season room spiffing. It needs so much more but perfection is not my goal today. it looks Christmasy. This Christmas has not been a stress because I am decorating simply and because I like it. I put greenery in the house - I wanted the outside in.

I had to take another puff of the inhaler. I have been using it during this sickness - I have never had problems before. so I keep saying my prayers that this will go away.

next straighten and vacuum the family room. it needs it.

 Lady M!! This teacher is beyond words -JMHO!

Well!! I drove myself to my lab appointment. Got there plenty early and they finally texted that I could go in. Went right up to the counter. She asked for my paper work. Told her that my Dr (up home) faxed it yesterday. No fax. Went out to car and called Dr. Receptionist told me she was sending it again (after I gave her the fax # the lab gave me.) So of course I lost my appointment for today. Called the lab a while after I got home and she checked and YES it was there. So I just went online & made another appointment for tomorrow morning at 10:45. Have a feeling it went to the wrong lab. BTW this is the first time I've driven in almost 2 months. Last time was when I drove to the Buffalo Airport October 18th. And to boot, drove dsonil's car. But I did fine. Just felt weird driving again. I don't need to very often as usually dd drives me wherever I might go -which isn't much.

Dh and dd are going to Trivia tonight. I'm still not going. Figure if I don't feel safe going to church, I definitely won't feel safe sitting in a restaurant for 3 hours.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Geez, Dee. What a royal pain.

I am back from my rounds. My eyes had not changed much and I elected not to get new glasses. I remembered later that dh will want me to get glasses because we need to drain what was put in our FSA. I think I have until March to use it up tho, so I'm going to argue that I should go in early March when they aren't so busy and maybe COVID is less of an issue.

I got wreaths to cemetery and took photos for dcousin J. I'm going to transfer to my laptop and then send on to her. I know she will be pleased too.

Then I did Goodwill drop off, picked up dog meds and got groceries. I unloaded groceries but still need to put away...I just collapsed.

so frustrating d dee!
hello d dee , d nancy, d twins.

I have been on the phone for the last while cancelling out renewals that I didn't know were renewals to my card.
the money won't be back in my account for 5 to 10 days.
I had to reorder d brothers presents from my d mom. They had tried using her credit cards but for some reason - she has the money - but she can not pay for things online with her credit card. She can use it in person but not online. I will talk to my brother about that after christmas.

I get master class as dd younger likes it but at 180 I don't want to pay for something she can buy on her own.(cancelled)
I think I am going to cancel disney, definitely cancel acorn

deleted many emails.

feeling tired. hoping to finish straightening

Hello everyone. Twins, have a blessed holiday. Doesn't mean anything that it's not as big a holiday as Christmas, it means something important to you.

Helped DH find his stash of hinges in the shop. Took a while. I forced myself to mostly stay inside while he replaced one hinge on his tail gate. I find this 'stepping back' almost harder to do than to go help.

Went down a rabbit hole. Recognized it from before, found my markers where I'd been before... I am down to just some history things in my project. Have a couple maps I want to mark and I was looking for a picture of a schoolhouse, which took me down another rabbit hole... but I think the girls will enjoy what I found, a map of where we all used to live up north. It is not far from where someone went to a one-room school house...but although they've kept some of those and repaired them as historical, I guess his was not. Would have been cool to see it.

The rest of the story.....DD9 teacher must have received more than my response. She just sent out this group email.
I've had a few parents contact me and say their kids have been working each day. With that being said, I trust you. If your child has been working and you know they have completed their time, just let me know.
If you know your child hasn't done enough work, please make them complete the required minutes this week.
I trust all of you and know you will be honest about this.
DD9 and I worked together for a couple of hours this afternoon. This is rare that DD9 needs my one-on-one help with school for this length of time. She usually just needs 5 minutes here and there. However, the multiplication of double digits had her frustrated and ready to scream. We discovered her problem....It isn't the multiplication process that she is having a problem with but it was keeping her numbers lined up. We turned the paper sideways and used the lines to keep the numbers in a row. Problem solved.

Groceries mostly put away, I'm going to make a cheesecake this evening for our dessert tomorrow night with the kids.

I suddenly decided today that it was time to get my parents' stone engraved with mother's death date. I somehow just hadn't been able to do it before, or hadn't wanted to yet. I still feel kind of emotional about it, but I made the call and I'm meeting someone there tomorrow a.m.

And....we got dMuffin's DNA results back today. DD and I talked about doing it awhile back, and I said I hated to spend the money so she and ds bought it for me for Hanukkah. So getting results back today was perfect! We thought she probably had Great Pyrenees because she is very white and very furry - but it was roughly one third third Golden (that must be where she gets that easy disposition!) a little less than a third Lab, and then 13% Siberian Huskey, 10% Chow, and about 10% Black and Tan Coonhound. I can see all of it except for the coonhound, but this is the south! All but the last are big shedders - I could brush her all day and still have fur flying. She doesn't have the patience for me to brush her daily as long as it would take.

We decided that dh will pick up barbeque tonight for take out near his massage, and he's left for that. I'm going to putter a bit, then will walk the dog.

LadyM, you are a good teacher, you have really grown into this. An IRL teacher might not have taken the time or effort to figure out what dd's issue was. You are a great teacher to help her figure out why it wasn't working and an easy solution.

family room spiffed - tomorrow I need to go under the couch - I looked under the couch and said "nope!!!" "not today"
vacuumed the family room and kitchen.

throwing the front room vacuum to Friday. Same with putting away of the empty christmas boxes that are at the bottom of the basement stairs.
I was supposed to work outside as it was warm but never got to it.

dh is letting me donate the small microwave. (I would have done it anyway when he wasn't around - because I know getting rid of things is hard for him. it's clean and ready to go. it will bless someone else.
