Now that I'm home, I'm looking at getting a tomato in the ground soon and starting zinnia seeds. Dh kindly took the little fence down from the bed where I had tomatoes last year, and the yard guy did the weed eating around it. I'd like to use Round up around it to keep it from getting so bad. The fence is to keep ddog digging in it. I typically rotate my tomatoes between the two raised beds so need to move the fence anyway. Once plants are up ddog doesn't seem to bother it. I think there's a chipmunk that lives around there and she wants it, but will never catch it.

(blessed) - 20? yipes. I hope your preparations helped.
Twins', be cautious about that Round-Up.
Kittykatt, what a calming place to sit. The little jonquils over to the right are such sweet blooms.
Dstepson cleaned up my beds further for me over the weekend, so they are neater. They'll only get attention because of the house but won't look naked until you get to them. If I do follow LadyM and put in some pretend flowers (smile) they would be at the back.

Rained yesterday so I did inside stuff.
Today it's too wet to mow but I did walk around to see my flowers got some vids of em.
New ones are blooming each week now and some nearly daily.
My fav. time of year.
Early tulips are done now that later ones are coming in to season.
Nearly planted em in the same spot oops! =D.
Some parrot tulips in the other bed are starting to turn color now.
So exciting!

it's been cold here d Nancy and d harriet
hard to believe others can mow their grass yet. good for you. We don't have our tulips up yet either.
I received phloemis from white flower farm already and they safe it should be safe to plant but none of my other perennials are up yet. They say they are cold tolerant but all the sites say late spring/early summer. it will be interesting.
I trimmed out some delphinium seedlings
etc.
watered with fertilizer
realized that I transplanted a couple things in too big of containers - the seedlings have stalled. tomatoes are up finally, same with lettuce.
I need to plant peas this weekend and other lettuces.
waving at all of you.

I also got 2 white bleeding hearts - I have one and I really want this one small area filled.
last night my young helper picked up my dogwood and the free pot someone on fb market place gave me
today watered all the seedlings - put the fan on them for one hour. I will do that daily.
today: I need to plant the soaked sweet peas

How wonderful that you're getting to work outside some today. It's good for your mental health!
