Thank you for your kind comments about Freddie, Bama and Helian! Freddie is pretty good at walking when he's going where *he* wants to go. If I need to move him in another direction as it's time to go home, or he's dug up a (very) dead bird that I'd rather didn't come in the house, then he digs his claws into the ground and braces himself against any encouragement to move!

I've done the top of my wardrobe. The rubbish is in the bin, and the shoebox is now full. So that's just a case of wrapping everything a d maybe buying a couple more bits and pieces to go in it, and that will be done. I'm almost tempted to do a little more decluttering, but I think I'm going to "quite while I'm ahead" and the bedroom is reasonably tidy. And I need to feed the kitties and find something for me.

long conversatoin the MD (Doctor) who signed mother's death certificate - and put a daignosis taht was very incorrect. He had never seen mother, I gave him an accurate history, and he will file an amended certificate, with cause of death "natural causes" like Queen Elizabeth II "old age."
That's just 1 of the corrections I have ahd to make with planning this funeral

I do limit specific politics in company, helia, but am fascinated by the soap opera-ness of it all, and news in general. Dh does get an earful when he gets home “you won’t believe this” type stuff. And the death took me by surprise so added to my planner notes here for when I write about my day in my paper planner/journal. Lol at the hat saga. We went through that with dh’s outdoor hat just yesterday.

Well, I walked the dogs after dark and as we went around a corner of the house, a cat scrambled off our outside table (where I had put a can of food for Lola) and ran off into the woods. It was black and white from what I could see in the porch light as it ran away. Looks like we are feeding another cat, that makes 14.
