Oh, this is going to be so much fun! I've been messaging my df that I don't see often, and she is coming to the concert on Thursday. She said "we" without specifying, so I think that it is she and her dbf, but there may be more. Really, really looking forward to it now.
I have a couple of storage lockers in the basement, helia. I haven't given up on my dream about learning to sew, but need to get the decluttering done first to give myself work space. You have gotten so much done already. WTG!
Hi, Peaches.
Thank you for the sunny start, trissie. I'm sorry about attending a parade when you have a cold, but it does sound like fun for your DD.
I'm a heavy sleeper and fall asleep very quickly through noise and light, but one thing that keeps me awake is if my feet are cold. I have one set of very loose socks that I wear to bed if that happens, also knitted slippers that I can use.
Hooray for a good turnout for the parish Christmas lunch, Kittykatt. You can't please them all, but you are pleasing many!
I hope that your day at payroll is going well, FrenchFly
We have snow on the ground now, L.Ann, and it looks like enough that I will have shovel around the car.
Ah, the tricks that the locals know, Bama. Of course, you don't have to go all the way to Florida, as you have beaches of your own, I assume from looking at a map.
Winter has arrived for you too, Gma.

It has arrived earlier than in the fast few years, L.Ann, but I acknowledge that this snow is mine to keep, LOL.
Monday
Cleaned up after dog
Put away dry dishes
Started going through sewing supplies box to get it ready to send to basement
Set up new procrastination list
Updated goals
Messaged df to get together–Yay! Coming to the concert with me.
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Washed dishes
Put more in to soak
Had another little go at redistributing things that don’t belong in the sewing supplies. Apparently, I could never find the plastic clothespins because I kept buying them and putting them in this box.

Howdy everyone.
Trissie you’ll be fine especially now the air traffic controllers will be getting back to work.
Dogged, one of Alabama's great secrets was we have beaches (for more family oriented check out Dauphin Island, for tourists there is Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach used to be more elite but it’s also for anyone who wants to pay premium prices) as well as mountains. It’s pretty cool imo.
I’m so sorry about your db’s cat.
Doing great, helia, LAnn, gma, Peaches!
I’m still dabbling with dailies. Need to kick into high gear and get them done now. Daylight is dwindling.

Excellent strategy, Bama. Let Florida deal with the rowdy tourists, and you can enjoy your beaches in peace!
I'm trying to talk myself into going outside, to give Germane a bit of an outing.

WTG, L.Ann.
I have walked Germane and checked on the car. It's snowing again. Time to dig the snow brush and car shovel out of the basement.

Trissie, I've never worn sox to bed, but will give it a try.
Being in a warm room was helpful.
We got a start on opening cards. 35 that came before the funeral. Almost double that left, I think.
