I have N or M? which is a Tommy and Tuppence mystery from Christie in ebook form from the library just now, trissie, which I plant to spend some time enjoying today. :)

Hi, L.Ann. Do you have DD33 home today?

Monday
Put on a pot of coffee
Checked email from building re: missing parcel
Update goals
Spiffed self
Got ready to walk to long term care residence to see if they have my parcel. Germane wants to go out. She planted herself in front of the door and looked at me meaningfully.
Brought Germane for a carry.
Carried her over the salty path and set her down in the parking lot.
Germane started pooping immediately.
Germane coped with the -30C windchill about as well as I expected.
Germaine tried to lift a cold paw while pooping and fell over.
By the time she was done, she had pooped a couple of times and was sitting on her butt with both back paws in the air.
Cleaned up after dog
Carried her back into apartment
Checked mail
Washed out her eyes and paw with a warm wash cloth
Opened a new tin of dog food: Performatrin Duck and Potato. Yay! She likes it. For now, at least.

Dogged, sorry it took me three rounds to get to you! I never heard of Sister Boniface, but I do like Father Brown so I will look for it! Can't remember if I read N or M - I thought I read all of Agatha Christie, but since it was "what's available in the library today", maybe I missed it, as the plot doesn't ring a bell.

My list is indeed getting shorter... I'll aim for two more rounds of 50 minutes and maybe I can get through it all!

TaDas
- midday routine
- afternoon routine
- load of lights sorted, treated and running
- homework / backpacks with kids
- trash taken outside
- paper, plastic and glass sorted and ready to be taken to collection point - probably Wednesday?
- misc. downstairs pick up
- hang load of ski pants which have been delay-started last night

ToDos
- 50 minutes of work
- 10 minutes of rest

Braindump
- evening routine
- dinner
- bake something sweet
- menus
- load of cottage towels? at delay start for tomorrow!
- ironing
- clean master bedroom
- at least 10 minutes in DBD's room
- one leftover holiday cleaning task
- DBD's speech therapy
- pay therapy bill

Trying to rush so replies may be a bit jumbled but you all know what I mean. ;)

Trissie, you have certainly jumped back into the work week with both feet, the cabin must have refreshed you.

Dogged, lol at the dog comments, which might be followed with “die like a dog”, although I seem to be going down the morbid path so reeling back in. Good Germane, hope she’s in and thawing now and you found your package.

LAnn, I’m so glad you’re enjoying your gift. It will give you a lot of funny bird experiences I’m sure.

Kitkat, enjoy the mild weather while it lasts.

Helia, that looks like a complicated puzzle to me.

I’ve unsubscribed or reported as spam some more emails. It has helped tremendously. I was getting over 100 emails a day in my regular box plus a few dozen in my spam folder, today I got 25 regular and 4 spam. So much better.
I also tried to catch up on a page I follow on facebook. I’m up to December 28 on her cooking videos. I had to stop bc it’s making me hungry and I haven’t eaten yet today.
I didn’t cook at all this weekend so will cook the parsnips this evening and let you know how it goes. There are 3 large ones in the bag so I may cut them up and try a couple different ways to cook them. It’s just me and dh so I don’t have to worry about picky eaters.
Why I didn’t have to cook, dh said there’s food in moms fridge and brought it home, it was from the Christmas party and still good so we snacked on it lol.

Not to worry, trissie. People here are busy, and I'm glad when you can check in.
I seem to remember that some Christies were reissued under different names, so you may have read this one. I'm not very far into it, but so far Tommy and Tuppence are empty nesters and missing the exciting days when they were agents for British intelligence. Tommy gets a mission that takes him to a seaside resort, Tuppence figures it out and follows him, and so far they are both pretending to be ordinary vacationers and pretending that they don't know each other.

I have had two little walks and am already ready for my break. I'll watch a bit of TV and keep working on the laptop that I'm setting up.

That's a lot of spam, Bama. I hope that you get it under control!

Finally, I'm back!

Waving to Bama, helia, trissie, kittykatt, Dogged, LAnn (hope I did not miss anyone)

Took till now to do the last list, pick up DGD, pick up DH, take DDog for a walk, bring her home and have a brief ball play session in back, in the snow.
She ran and loved it. She is tired (for now...) - so am I.

Next:
take laundry down
start a load
set up mouse bait. (Yes, we have some...)

make a cup of tea

clear top of dresser
clear top of desk
bag/box items to donate

Totally off track with the puzzle addiction. I have reclaimed the kitchen, had lunch, found recipe --> made a grocery list, made a grocery order.

I'm off to do my back exercises and then I will head out for a jog in the balmy January weather! Sunny and 40F. We are forecast to get freezing rain tomorrow morning. I hope not much will accumulate.

WTG on defeating the spam, Bama

I battled mice the entire time that I lived in my house, kitkat. They are so frustrating to deal with!

Puzzles are a nice addiction to have, helia. Enjoy your exercise!

WTG on all that you got done, trissie, and on a payroll day too!
