I hope everyone is staying safe and warm, and that Harriet is keeping power.
LucyLee, DGS sounds quite normal to me in his enthusiasm for sport, and making up a "season" - I think there's something similar here that boys (of all ages!) do called "Fantasy football" some use screens and some don't. (It's the UK version of football,.if course, but I think the principle is the same.
I'm intrigued at these "staged " marriage proposals. IIRC, we were just sitting on in the sofa when DH asked me "shall we get married?" Amd.my.repmy.was."Yes,.but not yet" (I knew I needed to finish my PhD first). So we set the date and had a 2 year engagement (and yes, I did keep a note iny.diary of how many days to go u til the big day!
) I was married at 23,.and I did get that PhD finished first.
And,.no, my parents didn't approve either. I think nothing less than a.king's.son would have done for them.
Different times,.I guess.
