Kittykatt, have you tried frozen blueberries? I confess I hadn’t until recently and they’re not bad. I don’t care for them thawed either. Too mushy or something. Would much prefer them in a cobbler.
I have faith in you (trimming everyone’s nails). I haven’t touched the dogs’ nails since my last habit post and they need it too. Maybe I’ll take them outside tomorrow for a good brushing and mani/pedi or is it just a pedi?

Bama, I think that fall colours needs the same conditions as maple syrup: warm sunny days and nights near freezing. That would be asking a lot of your climate, LOL. And I sincerely hope that your pine trees don't go to brown.

Hi all. Looks like a busy day here. Doggedly poor germane. I'm sure she doesn't mean to make so much work for you. She's a very elderly dog right?

Lots of fall colors up here right now. The trees are beautiful and the roads are littered in yellow and gold leaves. The odd red one but we don't have very many trees that get all the way red.

Bama I can't remember if I commented the other day. That was quite the eventful time. Did you get caught up and cleaned up after the fire? Scary.

Oops now I posted accidentally. Edit and I can't scroll back. Yes long weekend here. I get 3 days off in a row. Still have to plan if we're doing something and when. Honestly it feels like an obligation again. I should want to. Oh I want to see the kids. Missed them for a couple weeks again cause ds was working away again for a chunk of it. Ddil spends quite a bit of time at her parents place which I would have at that age too. But I am ready to see Lil j again. The rest is often just cause it's expected to get together. Oh well. I have to see if ds and ddil want to do something. Then I guess invite the rest.

We've had a crazy week again I guess that's why I haven't been here much. Wednesday was busy. Did I post in the evening? I doubt it. Let's. Ds meeting for iep in the morning. Took a whole hour as I had lots of questions and she had lots to talk about. It was good but I had to race home and grab stuff and go help W find the video we wanted for bible study. Then dad was trying to get me to come morning. I ended up making myself eat something and went straight out there. All my afternoon was out there.

I did get hold of the care aid head person. Did not go like we wanted. They lost some staff again. Promise an every day help and now it can only be twice a week. Shower help. In the afternoon. Dad had a really long list of stuff in town cause he had stayed home waiting for them all week. He is not happy with that. Except he had not completely understood everything in the first place. Ugh here we go again. I don't know yet what happened when he called her again today. I dowanna know .

Thursday and today busy work days getting the store ready for winter. And now I'm hoping tomorrow I can actually do my stuff. I hope. Kale. Cabbage. Tomatoes. Freezing some. Hoping I can vacuum seal some cabbage into shredded. And not freeze it. For salad. Talk of cabbage rolls too. I don't know depends how ambitious ds is.

You certainly have your work cut out for you, Lauralind. I hope that you get some visiting in there too.
Yes, Germane just gets confused and at night she doesn't seem to know what she's doing sometimes. I've started turning the light on for her when I hear her stumbling around, but I don't always wake up to help her. Sometimes I see her trying to figure out how to get out of a corner, and I lift her up and point her where I think she's trying to go.

This is earlier than I would normally head to bed, but I just feel as though I have nothing left in me today. Have a good night.
