Many, many years ago when I had four cats I bought a small plastic Christmas tree and only shatter-proof baubles so that they could roll it around the apartment. And they did.

Finished filling the slow cooker and started it
Cleaned up after dog X 2
Put away dishes from one drying rack
Put away drying rack

Put on a pot of coffee
Work on filling box for basement
Put away dry dishes
Dusted one lamp shade while testing lightbulb
Labelled used lightbulb as good and moved it to the house stuff box
Cut up a tissue box to replace an organizer box that was falling apart
Checked cans and jars on counter, finished cleaning them out and put them in recycling
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Washed a couple of basinsful of dishes
Put more in to soak

Ds is actually just getting into running. I wouldn't say he's strong. Apparently the others are. The whole team got the placement so he gets to go. It's really good for him cause he's coming from a physical developmental coordination disorder... behind by a year in motor skills ... to opportunities like this just cause he found his happy place in running? Hmmm. The rest placed high enough to get in. His goal is not to come in last. And complete it.

I got one side of the shelving painted. Do I flip it and do the other side or second coat and then flip it. And I should go for a fluff walk.

I did get my day off. My sister called. She's actually finally making progress. Someone is coming tomorrow to set up house cleaning help. Then we started with set up on day program and maybe some respite time occasionally. Phew. I think that will help. But trying to get it to go one step at a time. And it seems someone else can tell dad something we said for a long time and it's a brand new . Hmmm. Whatever.

You must be happy to see your DS enthused about sports, Lauralind. Good for his health in all kinds of ways.
It's frustrating that your dfather dismisses what you say until he hears it from someone outside the family. I think that's a really common thing, not directed at you.
WTG on progress on the painting. I'm sure that it will be beautiful whichever way you decide to paint it.

My joints started acting up, complaining that I have sat too long and then complaining that I have overexercised as soon as I stood up. I put the TV on and lay down. That made the joints happy, but I woke up shivering with cold feet and hands. I had already heated up the blankets with my body heat, so I should have been too hot, not shivering. So now I think that I am fighting some kind of bug. I'll just keep puttering and see how much I can get done that way.
