I'll call it a mid-month check-in since I've been so AWOL here. I am not tracking my protein the way I wanted to, but I am paying attention and making (mostly) better choices. If I don't make supper plans (for instance, when dh is going to be out) I often eat poorly. I am pretty consistently eating a protein breakfast. When I plan supper in for us, I eat well. I'm paying attention to the higher protein choices when we go out. (Chicken instead of eggplant, although the eggplant has a lot of cheese it comes loaded in fat too.)
I'm working on it, but actually tracking it is proving difficult for me.
I did hit walking target of 49K steps for the week, nearly getting to 52500 which is 7500 daily. I hope I'm back on track with better health for ddog and warmer weather for walking her. I was cutting walks short when she was reduced to trying to poop every couple of minutes, and letting her take the back yard. I think we have spring-like weather this week.
And I got in my two workouts. I'm consciously trying to not get so involved in what I'm doing on Monday and Thursday that I can't break away for workout.
