Re: Health and Fitness July, 2024
Keeping on. Just don't quit.
** Sleep - 6 hr 57 minutes. DS15 isn't working today which means we didn't have a flurry of activity in the house before 6:30am.
** Morning Mile - Day #41
** Morning papers - Day #16
** Music = Joy - Day #8 Alan J is entertaining us today.
** Cronometer - 1684 calories which included ribeye steaks for our anniversary meal.
** Hydration - over 100oz
** Golden Hour - day #12. My exercise was cut short because of two interruptions while I was outside mowing. I had been mowing a couple rounds when a couple of people from the AOG church came to our home to invite us to their weekend activities. After they left I returned to my exercise only to be stopped a few minutes later by DS15 and friends. After I handled that interaction, I decided that I had met my goal. I did exercise in the Golden Hour....it wasn't the best number of minutes and I wasn't sweating.....but I had started exercising twice so I counted it as done.
I remember in the past setting such small goals that it was almost impossible to not meet them. Meeting a goal is a good kind of addiction IMHO.
I have that same type of small goal for Golden Hour exercise. I just have to show up and start. Once I accomplish that everything else is gravy. Main mesage to myself....just don't quit.

WTO LadyM!!! Wow Nancy!!!
I stayed on my plan, drank all my water and got in 10+K steps. My weight wiggled up some, but I am just ignoring it. I knew this bet would be a struggle because if I meet my goal I will be at my lowest weight in 4 years. My body likes to stay where it is so it’s fighting to win and I’m determined not to let it!

Re: Health and Fitness July, 2024
Another successful day of focusing on ME and feeling good that I tried. I am not the best at taking care of myself because I would rather focus on other things. If I don't set strong boundaries and rewards then I find myself giving my focus, energy & time away.
** Sleep - 7 hr 35 minutes.
** Morning Mile - Day #42
** Morning papers - Day #17
** Music = Joy - Day #9 Grass Roots playlist filled our home with music.
** Cronometer - 1229 calories
** Hydration - over 100oz
** Golden Hour - day #13
I am thinking about adding another habit to work on. I know all the experts say to only focus on one habit at a time. But I feel okay with adding another and it is something that I am struggling with and want to improve. I'll think about it for a few hours to make sure this is something I want to accept having firm boundaries and rewards.

LadyM…love Grassroots music!
Stayed on my eating plan, drank 100 ozs of water plus come delish raspberry/lemon as well as some cranberry tea. I also had 24ozs of coffee, but I don’t count that.
I wore my exercise shorts yesterday which has a pocket for my phone, and realized it counts my steps better than my watch. That’s because the pedometer counts my leg movement and my watch counts my arm swings. That means is I am carrying something in my arms, the watch doesn’t count my steps but my pedometer does.
Wanna bet what I’m wearing today

My mantra is don’t give in.. good advice to me as I can be stubborn.
My weight bounced up again. I have no idea why. Stayed on my eating plan and got all my steps and water in. I am determined to reach my goal…no matter how long it takes!
