Knowing what was going to happen.....I still did it. I was mildly stressed from talking with doctor about DH and I just didn't have the mental bandwidth to deal with making better decisions about what to eat.
I ate a small junior sized hamburger.......you know the size you buy for a toddler.
Eating even that small amount of processed carbs does a number on my body. Within 10 minutes I was bloated and uncomfortable. This morning the scales say that I gained two pounds.
Geez Louise!

LadyM…. That’s why I’m staying away from the scales!
Yesterday I ate well. After running afternoon errands I stopped for hambergers at Sweeties favorite place. I ordered a double bunless Pattie hamburger. Good news..my stomach is ok.
Was busy away from home so I didn’t get in all my water or steps. I’m ok with that. Working on my water this morning. We’ll see what the rest of the day will bring.

Scales are stuck here, even with "better living through chemistry" i.e. Zepbound.

I was able to eat my 1200 clalories. However I didn’t get in all my water or steps.
Already have 5500 steps today. I have several errands to run today. Will work on getting in my water but it’s been a challenge but will do my best.

Re: Health and Fitness February 2025
I am posting here to enforce my desire to not give up. I want to do the best I can in taking care of myself. It won't happen without intentional effort.
I spent some time reviewing February data. Some of it is disappointing. Thankfully, there is part of the data that shows progress so I haven't completely lost confidence or optimism.
In reviewing the data I was able to connect a couple things. When I drink Greek yogurt/protien powder mixture then I lose weight. OBVIOUSLY, it is much more than just that one factor but it does inspire a bit of curiousity.
I am looking for a roadmap to make some progress. What do I need to change?
It starts with curiosity to spark the process,
observation sharpens my focus and leads to discoveries,
discoveries open new doors and leads to change,
changes push me forward to keep trying
success becomes the payoff.
I hope.

Nancy… how many steps do you try for?
Yesterday I got in 12k steps, stayed on plan and finally got in 70 ozs of water. I did eat a very tiny sliver of pizza. It satisfied my cravings.
I’m really going to focus on eating 100 grams of protein now that my tummy seems to have settled down

I go for closing the ring on the app on my phone apx. 6K esp. in winter or if I've been ill.
Yesterday shopping errand day got 10K steps.
I try to remember to do stretches and steps 1 or two times a day and walk outside if I can weather permitting.
I was happy to get my steps in each day this week despite being I'll with a cold mid week.
I have not eaten out in several months, did get take out meat balls a few times every other week or so, stopped getting subway type
sandwiches, just get the meat now. The cafe' I was eating at no longer agrees with my system.
Fun crock pot idea! B/c the store meat balls are not to my liking I do the following mine are better LOL! Jus sanin'
I am going to try to make my own meat balls this month.

Nancy… I buy frozen meatball from the store and they are delish! Plus they don’t bother my stomach. I usually have some in my freezer but used them the other day. I don’t remember the brand but will look for them when I go to the store and let you know the brand.
