We do know "What's Next"! There's a wonderful certainty of "There's a card for that".

We have the "Appreciation" thread :) above as a sticky - please add Brilliant Theory to that with even more profound thoughts!

Here's a place for the Practicality of what's on your cards right now, what's helping, how far you're getting with them on a daily, weekly basis, etc.

Are you using paperclips, post-its,
C o l o r s , stickers, etc. to physically remind, Skip with Intention?

Are you employing the digital, the hip-pocket, the portable ideas?

How much of your card reliance is Cleaning and Decluttering and how much do you also file the "Everything" of life?

Do tell!

Helpful notes from the autumn thread:

Here's the Morning Daily Card from "Organized From the Inside Out", P and P's system (grouped chores on a card).
They printed this outline and suggest customizing it:

Get Up on Time
Personal Grooming
Make Bed
Empty Dishwasher
Eat Breakfast
Write a Journal Card
Follow Your Weekly Plan

The Evening Dailies card from this set has:

Happy Hour (their phrase for relaxing)
Eat Dinner
Dinner Clean-up
Free Time with family or alone
Turn on Dishwasher
Personal Grooming
Private Time in your bedroom
Lights out on time

LadyM, we noted, has been calling grouped tasks "Habit Stacking" - very descriptive.

Timing of fitness - blessed times this for mornings.
lucylee, though, with her "A PERFECT DAY BEGINS AT NIGHT" card, tries for 10:00 p.m.

Nancy has started a new cardfile for her sewing room.

 Haven't been setting up that "perfect day" in a while. It is really hard for me to keep a routine with dgrands here so often. I wish I had whatever LadyM has that keeps everything running with all the interruptions children can present.

LucyLee, I think maybe the secret is not to be worried about the "perfect" or "ideal" start to the day, and not to attempt to fill every moment of your morning / evening, but rather focus on a few essentials, at least to start with. IMHO, it's important to leave "contingency time", as Life Happens, "stuff" happens. This means that on a good day, you do the basics and there's time to do some optional "would like to do" extras, and when you have One of Those Days (like we all do from time to time) you've done enough to prevent everything sliding into chaos.
HTH! :D

I have been putting note cards for my writing project ideas to keep for future reference.
Of common topics I can reuse in a new year or on a diff. project start or end.
I'm using 4 x 6 " ones this time.

Oh, the lure of those cards! How much fun it would be to set up the card file. But would I use it?
