It's Friday, time to finish this first week of the week with all of its baggage about new starts and organization and a getting a great year off to a fabulous start! Wrap up the week strong....or rest on your laurels! Whatever you need is here for the taking today, let's hear those assessments of the week too!

So sorry for delay this a.m., I've been down a darn rabbit hole deleting old emails....I'm not even sure how I went there.

Short trip to the dollar store as I believe their valentine cards are out and I need 7 for my grands and nieces and nephews.

The zoom at 12:30 today was rescheduled to next week, and I don't know how I ended up deleting a couple thousand emails. I use Gmail and "archive" emails but in 15 years I had over 22K. I'm less than 19K now. I have saved a lot from my time as temple president, and I saved some just as a reminder...kids in high school, etc.

Dh is home from Rotary meeting then appointment re: shoulder and he doesn't have to have surgery, and can bowl again. But he's supposed to use lighter weights and more reps. I pretty much figured the shoulder was okay because it's not been hurting him, but I'm glad he rested it long enough to get better.

I need to get myself ready to head out early afternoon to go to ATL. Shower first.

Good morning

Three hours into my day, and everything’s going smoothly so far.

DS17 was launched to work a couple hours ago. I just woke DD14 up with encouragement to jump into the shower before we leave in 30 minutes for her physical therapy appointment.

next up-
** Throw all dirty clothes into the washing machine and get it started. make sure DH changed his underwear.
** Wash, dry, put away breakfast dishes - super simple and will take less than 4 minutes.
** Fix hair. For some unknown reason i skipped doing this when I did AM personal care.

Hi!

I think I'm staying home from the Fibre Friday group this week. Dh is sleeping on the couch/sofa and I've got the decor on the tree to take down. I really should get to the laundromat, but it's extremely windy out and I just donwanna.

Hey, everybody!

Had an appointment at the oral surgeon's this morning. I had a tooth break off a few months ago -- I was eating lunch, and my crown came out... with my tooth in it! My regular dentist patched it over but said I'd need to have it out, and he recommended an implant. Since it wasn't
an emergency, and I wasn't in any pain, they booked me way out to now -- for the consult; the extraction isn't till late February. We talked money today, and I decided yes, to go ahead with the implant. It won't be cheap, but it won't break us.

So I am now struggling to get back on track for the day. I've had lunch, but I haven't cleaned up the dishes yet; that will be next.

Have a good day, everybody!

((((Mystery)))) I hope the tooth fix continues to be painless as possible.

DS17 had an attitude with me. I am typically a "kill them with kindness" type of person, but having an ungrateful, rude teenager attitude toward me can change that. We will talk after he gets off work and see how this goes.

While DD14 was in her PT appointment I used handheld battery vacuum in the Odessey. I don't like sitting in a waiting room, so this gave me something to do while passing the time.

Lunch was a salad packed with a variety of vegetables and three types of protein. It was incredibly tasty, but I forgot how long it takes to eat a salad—so much chewing!

I rode along while DH drove his old pickup half a mile to unload the door construction materials into the city dumpster. He never went over 20 mph, and with no other vehicles around, it felt safe and made him happy to be doing something normal.

working in laundry room -
cleaned the outside of the laundry machines - I would love to have machines in the upstairs hall closet - don't think it is doable but boy would I love it.
I would extend the kitchen or make a large pantry out of the small laundry room.

had lunch - done
I have sole meunière, new potatoes, green beans for dinner
I have left over raspberry bread pudding (enough for one person) with raspberry syrup - giving it to mom with a bit of whip cream.
(tea time)

emptied groceries

vacuuming

restore a basket

next: finish sweeping the laundry room and quick rinse - nothing great.
worked one one of dd youngers dog stuff - put away or toss. dh and I want limited stuff out
