It's indoor activities today for many of us. Get the blankets, light the fireplace, mix up hot chocolate. Hoping we all get through this safely!
I looked in last night to see if LadyM had posted - hoping things are well there and with other villagers in the path of this.

And with you yourself, Twins'.
Best wishes for wise thinking and good outcomes to all.
We are operating on the tentative plan of staying here, but of course in the back of our minds, we know we might travel either across the road (less likely) or away.
Thought of another prep - for someone with a cat, a disposable litter kit if kitty needs to go to another place. $5
Kitchen spif accomplished.

Re: Snowy Sleety Saturday PWYC
Good morning
We are snuggled inside and living our best lives. We have about 3" of ice and snow mixture on the ground. It is hard and slick. Today we are predicted to receive the 2nd wave. According to the radar we are right on the line between freezing rain and snow falling. Hopefully we will get more snow than ice.
I am not attempting to walk outside today so have marked those hourly doings off my spreadsheet. I am walking inside the house to get some steps because when I don't walk then my body gets stiff. I am walking from one end of the house to the other ....repeat...repeat...repeat.

Re: Snowy Sleety Saturday PWYC
Dh is walking dog. We got a dusting of snow, and supposedly we're getting a little freezing rain/sleet now. Temp is below freezing now but is to rise in middle of day, and drop again by 7 p.m. when we're to have more freezing rain.
I'm made for this kind of weather. Dh has a neighbor over last night for bourbon sipping and he can visit with neighbors if needed, lol. Possible plan for dinner out was cancelled and I'm going to make tomorrow's soup this afternoon.
I expect to do house walking today as well, LadyM. We do still have a treadmill upstairs, not sure whether I want to try it or not.

Re: Snowy Sleety Saturday PWYC
I was able to sleep until six today yea!
27* /33* today's temps.
a week from Mon. 52* is the hi in our forecast! Feb. 2nd.
I've been working on my morning stuff with extra coffee.
I set up a new planner / writing project.
Did my bujo & dp log was accomplished last nite.
Just got dressed & had my bfast. No pj's today.
Saw a squirrel came to get some ice out of birdbath so I put warm water out for them.
Dog has been in and out several times.
Next up
Get out eggs to get up to room temp. then boil em to devil for dson's belated bday gift so he can enjoy em in the playoffs.
Please share your cozy tips and activities.
Water is on the stove for steam & humidity and tea in a bit or cocoa.
flannel shirt on with under shirt and tea shirt for warmth with sweats.
Team colors tomorrow!
Puzzles
Card games
Hot dogs on the stove for in bean soup later.

Re: Snowy Sleety Saturday PWYC
I’m on the couch with my blanket. No loss of electricity, thank goodness!
Nothing really here except COLD, like Cathy said.,
I’ve swapped kids and drove to town. No mail, but I bought a paper at one of the boxes.
Weather shows lots of ice in some areas west and north of us, but no travel problems in my immediate area.
