It has started to snow here. It's currently minus 10. Last night I told dh that today will be a pajama day for me. I have no plans to go anywhere. Not even out to the garage. I brought in some stuff last night to help me avoid going out there today.

Thinking of you all in the bitter cold, Cathy. It's currently +8C here and raining. After weeks of rain, I have to keep reminding myself to be grateful that it's not snow or ice. But it does mean that as I can't do much outside, I have no excuse not to get things done round the house! :D

Good morning

We received several inches of fluffy snow last night on top of the 3" of ice/snow from early Saturday. Temp is currently 8F and will go up to 18F later today.

Our local FB group is full of mild panic because all the businesses that serve coffee have frozen water pipes and/or are closed. No church services today so getting coffee there isn't going to happen either. The closest place to get coffee requires a 10 mile drive to a truck stop. I knew a lot of people go buy cups of coffee every morning, but I didn't realize it was this many. #FirstWorldProblems
fyi...I'm too particular about ingredients, frugal, and/or lazy to leave the house to get coffee every morning. I prefer to make it at home with my favorite grind and RO water.

We are above freezing and will continue to be so until tonight - after the rain has stopped around three today. So there may be potential ice in the a.m. and the mountain areas may continue icing. (Just saw an announcement that all roads up and down the mountain we used to live on are closed.) But we are in the clear. Just rain today.

I hope I have some neighbors coming by this afternoon to get some free stampin up stuff. I think school will be out tomorrow (Ice overnight? and mountains iced in) so I'll ask them to come tomorrow too. Hoping I don't have to haul all this off and that someone will want to use it.

Dh has gone to his massage this a.m. I just walked ddog in a very cold rain.

Glad you just have snow, LadyM. Yes, I prefer my coffee in pajamas in my own kitchen.

Went out with coffee to monitor the dogs mine & neighbors only
barked a little bit. It was 7ish when I got up. Dogs were out at 7:30 ish.

I have on my fuzzy lined hoodie black with butterflies on it over pj's
Will get dressed before I deliver above mentioned dev. eggs.
Just a bit of frost here today.

Looked like Stephen Furtick's live is up today they run it several times during the day that's my on - line church.

I went back to bed, but I don't think I slept. I did lay there with my eyes closed thinking about a lot of things.

I must say I was shocked when I saw what time it was when I finally decided to get out of bed. Dh is still sleeping. I think he was up for most of the night. I'm not sure.

I haven't done anything today.

Dh used to get coffee at Tim Hortons every morning and he would always have 2. Now he has 1 coffee at home every morning. I have either a hot chocolate or a hot tea in the cold months and I used to have iced tea in the summer. My favourite brand got discontinued last year. Now I need to find something else.

It has started to snow and it's coming in sideways from the east. It's gotten colder and windier, but we are snug in our tiny home, protected from the wind and weather. There has been at least one plow, but I think they are just plowing any drifts. They don't have any snow fencing along our road as it is mostly orchards and vineyards. Not a lot of open fields.

praying for everyone in the storms path!!!

we have 7 degrees which is better than the other day. it's normal for us - flittery fluffy snow - nothing worth mentioning - just pretty!
yesterday when it was still below zero we did the hot water toss and it does make snow =- so much fun! at first no one wanted to see but I convinced them to come outside - Saturday's helper who is dd's ages even laughed at the thought - she even came outside - it works.

waving had everyone I am hoping to have a quiet no person day as I do most of the talking to mom and keeping her engaged Monday through Saturday.
I want to order some more seeds and plants

last night I made spaetzle (sp?), red cabbage, spinach with bacon and onion dressing.
today dd older made juice for us for this week - pineapple, grapefruit for me, orange for mom and her.
dishes are still in the sink  :D ;)

I had a cozy two dog night sleep - they were cold and laid right next to me - one dog along my back - so warm and cozy. - dh doesn't like dogs next to him but I was cold for awhile
thank you for starting us d cathy!!!
enjoy your pj day today!!! sounds wonderful
\

Well I guess yall don’t want to hear that the high of 85* yesterday broke the record! I spent some time weeding my flower bed.

Today’s high is suppose to be 83* but a cold front is on its way.

My son will be here later to help do a few things around my house including putting my Cmas decorations back in the attic.

I plan on watching the football play offs later this afternoon.

Yall stay safe and warm today!

CI / dsis in Ark. said they have been iced in no traffic on the main road at all.
This will last a few days for them. [From the looks of the temps. could be for the week.]
Glad to see Blessed w2 has checked in.

We still have frost in back on the North side the front and other areas have melted.
I've had bfast and done some in my journals.
One more bit to add to a chapter of yesterday's writing.
