Change lt. bulb in chicken's run good thing they are laying good h. Got more guys wanting eggs. H. us better may have been allergies from the dust /wind storm the other day.

Dinner is done.

dgd is having dinner with us.
Dump cake is yummy! We used a pie plate, a small juffy mix one can sliced peaches I added two handfuls of oatmeal & cinnamon.

Trying to figure out how to do this with in muffin tins with fruit cocktail in cup cake papers.

Pretty horrendous day. I'm aching all over. Still have to do dishes and make lunches.

I did get to Office supply and grocery store; had to eat a hamburger on the way.

Caught up on paperwork in office with DH. He's so tired he can barely walk. Geese, we're a pair.

Listening to HRH who is hearing (through ear phones) a sad report from a massive-multi-player gaming acquaintance. Many gamers hearing this, all stopping battles to listen. Last night one of them had to rush away, hearing noises, and came back saying only, "goodbye on the way to vet, it looks bad". Tonight sadness confirmed, he lost his little pet. Not sure of circumstances but it is heartening to realize all these people all over the world would tune back in at the same time tonight and be willing to drop their battles to find out if everything was all right. Also interesting that he would realize that exactly 24 hours later, no matter what time that might be for each one, would be the time they would again be "looking" for him, and come in to let them know. He has received condolences and is gone... ...

Time to dress for dinner. Semi-formal again tonight. We'll be up late because the concert looks excellent.

We have been invited to join the cruise director on the 18th. This is a great honour. The invitation came on his personal stationery (gold embossed, gold foil lined envelope) and is hand written. Dh and I are over-the-moon.

My team came third in trivia this afternoon. After, several of us sit and chat. One of the newbies to this cruise line said it was her favourite time of day because it feels like we are girlfriends just chatting away.

I swam after the lecture this morning, then had lunch, read a bit, then napped until the next lecture/tea/trivia. Glad I had the nap!

HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY to Ivy ! I'm glad you had such a wonderful day.

Haven't been here for several days but had time tonight to cuop so I just did & replied to you all in my head . ((Hugs)) to those who are frazzled, worried, stressed, sad or in pain. A lot going on for many in our village these days.

I was on the road for almost 12 hours yesterday. Accompanied a dfriend on a long road trip so she would not have to go alone. We ended up having a good time & began our journey well caffeinated . We had enough stops & meals along the way to break up the long drive & between that & lots of chatting the time flew by.

All the Christmas decorations are down & put away, & as of this morning all the regular decor is put back. All was pretty much done last week but dh & I both enjoyed the tree lights at night so much that we left it up this long. Tuesday night dh had a meeting so I undecorated all the ornaments while watching TV & yesterday he took off the lights & stored it.
