Worked on a letter to a dfriend to mail her a subscription form to "Poet's & Writer's" Magazine. I sold a story again, was glad. Got a Thinking of You card fixed for dneighbor (w/dementia) who's DH just had a stroke.
I'll call the dr. tomorrow because some "things" are going on. Namely yeast in the mouth, IBS, which is becoming a daily occurrence, and bad. Then found 3 red sore spots, which look "funny" in the panty line. Am putting antibiotic ointment on them, but it's not helping. Also, since I was on an IBS drug study in 2004, I'll suggest I go onto that med, since I'm familiar with it and it came on the market in 2005. I just hope he'll not send me to a gasto doc and I end up with a colonoscopy. I'm due for 1 this year, but right now would just be way too inconvenient. Am hoping for the best, so will do whatever he suggests. TMI anyway.
I got out yarns for Dgrson-5's Christmas afghan, will do it in stripes. Then, found ALL of dgd's yarns in my "stash" for her Red Heart "Butterflies" afghan. It's nice to not need to go buy a bunch of yarn.
It showered a bit here, other places got some snow, but thank goodness it's not us.
I set my timer for 60 min. and I put out hot spots, decluttered, and puttered. Did 2 lol, DH ran the DW, and tomorrow I'll do my House Blessing since the house is already picked up.
Was getting my teeth cleaned this week, but cannot with yeast in the mouth, as it'll spread over my face. I TRIED telling the receptionist this on Fri. the 21st, she blew me off, said to wait 5 days, call back them. Oh, yes, I'll call all right- to cancel and re-schedule when I'm yeast-free.
When I get dgson-5 and dgd's afghans done, it'll be time for dgs-3's afghan. I won't know until the time comes, if I'll need to purchase new pound skeins of yarn or not, but am leaning to a golden yellow color for him, with red in the stripes, too. I'll fish around my "stash" to see what I come up with and then go buy when needed/if needed.
The new book by Pam Young, "The Joys of Being Disorganized," sure sounds good. I watched all her little videos on the book last night. I'd like to get it at the store, so I can pay cash, so will wait until it's at B 'n' N in town. Will call them in a few months, when I have more time for reading it, ask if they have it in,or if they can order it. I love the last little video, which talks about the feeling the book will leave the readers with who read it. ♥
Kathryn, It's awesome your ds is coming home in March, I believe is the month you said! You must be so thrilled!
I'd better go watch some closing ceremonies at the Olympics now. You all have a very good week!

I'm up way too late, and can hardly keep my eyes open. Waiting for last LOL to get done and I will hang them up in garage. I did another load so I'll have clothes to take in for DH. He's just wearing sweat pant shorts and tshirts in there.
Another 12 hours spent with him today. I can see the despair on his face when I have to leave. He had one session of therapy today and I walked a couple times with him. He also got outside once in the wheelchair. He'd probably stay outside longer but it hurts to sit on that hip and he can't sit on one side because then his knee turns in and that's a no-no.
I got the refrigerator cleaned out a bit and garbage gathered and out to the curb for tomorrow. Big load of dishes washed. Had a raft of emails to answer. Can't believe the people who know what's going on who complain that they've left a couple messages and haven't heard back...hello, people think! One lady wanted me to come pick up some clothes someone gave her she thought I could use.... ah, could you please hold onto them for a little bit till things settle down around here??
Need to finish, then I'm off to bed. Couldn't get my eyes to focus this morning I was still so sleepy. Had to put drops in them and hold warm washcloth against them. I'm gonna drop when this is all over.
