Sigh. Elizabeth's Own Maid Service has extra work now. While the Child Care division was on duty, there was a serious diaper blowout. Now, DD's bedding is in the wash, and I must clean the guest bathroom. Yes, a 4.5 yo should be out of diapers, but he isn't, and he was sick, thus the problem. I am SO glad to be out of that stage with DD12! Interestingly, her step-twin, who is only 3 months younger than she is, also still uses pullups. I have always thought there was something physiological or even neurophysiological going on with him. His mother didn't believe me when our families were best friends, she certainly wouldn't listen to me as her stepdaughter's mother.

Aside from the unpleasant diaper duty, child care went fine. He played in DD's room, ate well, then started to lay down on the kitchen chair. I suggested he borrow DD's bed instead, and he took a nap. Later, I was told he very seldom takes naps. When he woke up, he put on his shoes and tried to leave by my front door. I convinced him he would have more fun if we both went in the backyard, where he climbed a tree as I pulled weeds. I found that most of the weeds have stronger stickers than I have gloves. Guess the lawn care division will have to get some Round Up. I hate using harsh chemicals, but it has gone way beyond my ability to pull them. Two of the cats allowed the child to pet them - one played ball with him. I am not surprised by that one, but the other, I expected to run.

Now, it is essential that I file my unemployment as soon as I finish typing this. Then, I will sew a template for a doll skirt, go to the grocery store, and eat dinner.

I completely forgot about Elizabeth's Own Plumbing Company, which, fortunately, is getting time off right now.

Well, I have really done only 4 things today:
1. Chauffeur dd15 around - to school, home from school, to drumline. Maybe that counts as 3 things? A good 20 - 25 minutes each.
2. band uniform returns; we left early at 1:20. I might stay until after school tomorrow. 3.75 hours today, including travel time.
3. Hebrew translation work - got enough translated for class today with an extra 2 verses. I can't go to the next 2 classes and the 3rd class, the last class for the year, is pretty iffy in my schedule. 2 or so hours?
4. Hebrew class 1.5 hours, including travel time

Oh. I guess that totals about 8 hours. Less, if I subtract travel time for meetings.

Ds and GG are en route home and they will pick up something to eat on the way. I think dd18 won't be home until after 9? Dh has gone for a run and is due home any minute. We're going on an impromptu date tonight since no one is home for dinner. Except I've already eaten my full 26 WW points for the day. I'm not managing the temptations of a cake and choc. chip cookie dough and freshly baked choc. chip cookies very well. Temptations are largely thanks to dd15. She got help with the cake.

Waiting for dh. . . . .

Probably over my snit about running all day. I've reviewed, answered and purged emails going back at least a couple of weeks. I'm going to head out to walk the ddogs, and then calling it a day.

That's nice you babysat for your friend, Elizabeth.

I didn't get a lot done today. I did get to the bank, sorted mail and reconciled one bank statement, made dinner. Helped DH tonight. For at least 10 days I'll have to dry, put ointment on and bandage his neck. I clipped his hair a bit so the tape wouldn't pull so much. It looks a bit like someone tried to cut his head off! Our homeowner at jobsite was a bit concerned when she asked him about it and he told her it was cancer. But the dr. assures us we caught it in plenty of time so shouldn't be a problem. She says she sees an awful lot of it down here in the "land of sunshine".

I need to do dishes next and make lunches.

I have successfully done the unemployment app and checked my email. I tried to pay my first months insurance premium, but the website told me I had zero balance! Imagine not being allowed to pay early! My new insurance will cover better than I was expecting, which is always a nice surprise. I got a list of my medications from the mail order pharmacy, in case I can't access the account much longer. I have also gotten an email from healthcare.gov explained.

I am rearranging the order of my to-dos. After setting the LOL to dry, I will get some groceries, eat, then work on the doll skirt template.

The afternoon didn't start for me until after 3 when I finally got dressed. Then I started another load of laundry and worked on the pram. It was mostly surface rust on the chrome and it came up very well in most places using an SOS pad (I'm out of steel wool but should buy some for cleaning after the move.)

CM and CF came over and picked up the utility trailer (with a half load for the dump) and so that is off the property. Yay!

Dh washed the car while I worked on the pram and then I changed again (covered in soapy-rust stains) and we went out for dinner at Subway. Got there at 6:50 and they were closing at 7 so we had to bring it home but got fed. We finished just before 8 and I pushed dh to get packing some boxes. Picked the kitchen to work on and we did 6 before he demanded we stop and have an early bed due to our physical day.

So not 10 but a good start. We put a card table up next to the area we were working on and he'd empty, I'd wrap, he'd pack, then close and label. Another advantage of doing the work this week is that Saturday is another garbage day. Not everything that came out of the cupboards is coming with us!

We had an inquiry about the house so hope that might lead to another viewing.

I'm off to bed now. Pleased with the progress this weekend and particularly today, although I'm upset that there's still another 3 - 4 hours on the gardens ahead of me. My big accomplishment today was the pram. It isn't perfect at all but I've proved it is still usable. Dh thought it would have to be trashed.

Hello dear ladies

Stopping by.

Had PT today.

It will be awhile before dson 18 has his heart procedure. Has to do ultra sound and other tests. Meet with surgeon.

I am thinking July is when it will be done.

Appreciate your prayers.

Good night all
